Criminal Minds: Just Getting Started (2022) Season 16, Episode 1

I was really disappointed when this show was cancelled a couple of years ago as it's always been one of my favourites. I am really glad it's back - the only problem is it's not going to be long enough with 10 episodes! Not a huge fan of the Tara Lewis character but I was even glad to see her back. It will be interesting to see how everyone works together after being apart and how things move forward throughout this and future series. Good first episode!

Just to address another review - someone said that the language is awful and that it's no longer a family friendly show. Doesn't bother me at all, but when was a show about serial killers family friendly anyway?!

The Challenge: UK (2023)

Really miss TJ Lavin

I love The Challenge main show and have watched for several years. This is part of a series of worldwide series' that all lead to The Challenge World Championship which takes the winners and runners up from each country plus players from the main show. This UK version was ok. The challenges were good and the challengers were as expected from our reality shows, but Mark Wright was completely the wrong host. TJ Lavin is The Challenge. He's funny, a natural presenter and you can just tell he loves the show and challenges. Mark Wright is wooden and boring. You could tell he was just reading from a script. If it comes back for another series, please don't have Mark Wright hosting as he ruined it for me!

FBI: Most Wanted (2020– )

Enjoy the show but can't hear what new agent Gaines is saying - speak up!

I enjoy this show. It generally has good storylines and is watchable although not quite as good as the main FBI series. The characters overall are ok although could perhaps do with a bit more development overall. However, the new agent in season 3 - Gaines from Miami - mutters all of the time and I really struggle to hear what she's saying. I really wish she would speak up! She also shows very little emotion so really unsure what she and/or the writers are trying to get at with this character. Not overly sold on Dylan McDermott as supervisory special agent either. I can't really take him seriously but not sure why - it's the same on other shows I've seen him in - probably just my issue though!

Saved by the Bell (2020–2021)

I like it and I think a lot of people have missed the point ... !

I loved the original series - it was a staple of my teenage TV schedule! I put off watching the reboot as I expected it to be rubbish but I was surprised to find I quite like it. I think a lot of people are missing the point that it's taking the mick out of itself and the original though. That's what I like about it. Also it's meant to be silly, it always was!

The Flight Attendant (2020–2022)

Am I watching something different to the good reviews?

I watch a lot of crap tv but this was a step too far for me! I was expecting a lot after all the great reviews and it seemed to have a good premise but it was just silly. Too many irritating flashbacks, then somehow she is having a conversation with a dead person as well? I managed an episode and a half but ended up wishing I hadn't bothered!

I don't get the awful reviews for this, its a very watchable film. You expect seeing Melissa McCarthy and Tiffany Haddish on the bill that it is going to be a comedy but that's not the case. I think it's a good film with a good cast and is worth a watch.

Gangs of London (2020– )

Quite good, but actor who plays Sean isn't right in my opinion

I quite like this and think it's definitely watchable. I don't mind the violence - I think some of it is a bit far fetched if anything! I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike blood/fighting/death in a programme though! However, it would have been much better if Sean had been cast with a different actor. He is way too well spoken and soft of voice in my opinion. Just doesn't feel like he fits as a big crime gang boss for me

Kate & Koji (2020–2022)

Irritating canned laughter

Deadwater Fell (2020)

Honestly one of the most boring things I've ever watched. Could have been one episode and would probably still have been bored even then!

Aladdin (2019)

Good but would be better with a different Jafar

Overall good film but still prefer the original animation. Will Smith is a decent Genie but Jafar is totally wrong. He isn't scary or even menacing. He is just boring honestly. Would have been better with a different Jafar

FBI (2018– )

Good series - ignore the haters!

This is a solid first season, with some room for improvement. I'd definitely give it a good 7 - it's no way a 1/10! For those talking about the shouty actor I believe he shouts when he's talking to everyone in the bull pen of analysts but talks normally otherwise. It doesn't bother me

I actually quite enjoyed this film. It's pretty silly, which is to be expected given it's about a long running game of tag, but I definitely had some laugh out loud moments. Worth a watch!

9-1-1 (2018– )

Awful

I love medical dramas usually but this was just awful. I watched the first episode but couldn't bring myself to watch any more. The rookie firefighter is an idiot and just wouldn't be allowed to be out in the field if he was that reckless. None of the characters were very likeable and I was just bored. Very disappointed!

Bulletproof (2018–2021)

I don't know why this has so many negative reviews. I started watching after reading them fully expecting to turn off halfway through the first episode, but I found myself enjoying it. It's also quite funny. Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters work well on screen together. Worth a watch in my opinion. It's not a serious gritty cop drama, but then it's not meant to be. Just take it for what it is - a bit of fun!
