Fun series

Love this series. Has me laughing a lot. English military guy takes the job of judge in a community in Ireland. Takes a while to get used to Irish trickery and customs.

Right off the bat to have a very busty glamorous young woman cast as a world famous scientist puts me off. Very poor casting in my opinion. The opening scene had me in tears. But from there..

Warning: Spoilers
Watched more and the series is getting silly. Had to quit. They made it into an English/Japanese farce. Disappointing because the lead Japanese actor is great. The joy boy talk and inserting the daughter into the mix has ruined it for me.

Unnecessary scenes

I love Japanese films. Yakuza too. Enjoying film but I dont see why so many things have to be in the mix. They can leave out the homosexual sex scenes. Seems to be added for politically correct reasons in most English pics these days. Puts me off and takes away from the quality of the film.

Suspenseful exciting drama

Really great until episode 3 and I find it is another one about bad Christian's trying to drive poor gentle Muslims out of Europe. Van Gogh, the filmmaker would laugh.
