What a beautiful story. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and so much more than the other Bridgerton series'.
The acting was brilliant and I was completely emerged in the story. I thought they tackled the race element very well, only hinting at it, rather than making it central to the story. It's about time that black characters can have a story that isn't all about race, especially in a period drama.
It is not historically correct by any stretch of the imagination, but if you go into it with that knowledge then you will get so much more out of it. Watch it as if it is a brand new story. I cried at the end, it was better than I could ever imagine.
