This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a very long time. I am a huge fan of comic books and comic book movies; however, I haven't read Watchmen, but now I have even less desire to do so.
Watchmen was extremely boring. I wanted to leave the theatre several times and walk around, or maybe stare at a wall, because that would have been way more interesting than watching this disaster of a movie. I didn't care about any of the characters--I could not relate to them on a human level. The sequence of events was confusing too, and I must have rolled my eyes about 20 times, because some of the scenes were just so ridiculous.
I really don't see how it's possible that this movie has such a high rating. Just because this movie remained very faithful to the comic does not make it a good film. Changes are essential to make a good comic book movie, like Spider-Man, X-Men, and Iron Man--all excellent films.
I feel like all the hardcore geeks out don't want to admit how bad this movie was, because this was seriously boring and a waste of time and money.
