Cool! (2004)
This could be cooler!
17 September 2004
Since the last movie I had seen from this director my expectations were more than met, but this time Theo van Gogh made a huge mistake to think that you can make a good movie that will impress people by giving young juveniles the opportunity to play a part in a sort of hard life thug story. Another huge disappointment is Johnny de Mol for playing the lead in this movie as the boss of some kind of gang. This guy for sure can't act and really has no feeling for timing.

The point of the story is that you have a group of though boys looking for a lot trouble by robbing a bank (an attempt) They get caught and put in a sort of special school for boys that don't fit in society, here they learn about some things like having respect and dignity for their fellow citizens and to make something good out of life. The movie gives you a unsatisfied feeling because it is more like a commercial for this type of schools and it seems that the director wants to give out some kind of signal to young kids for staying out of trouble but brings the message with a utterly boring story.

5/10
