The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022)

A real daimyo doesn't have to keep telling people he's daimyo

I like the directing and visuals of the show, and how it takes a different approach to tell a different story. But the story just doesn't feel engaging or compelling.

Boba Fett is a legend but he doesn't come off as a legend here. Him constantly telling people he is daimyo is very off putting.

Just compare him to Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones who feels really intimidating and would say that anyone who tells someone that they are King, is no King at all!

Cobra Kai (2018–2025)

First season is a perfect 10. Second season, is not.

This is such an amazing show that really turns your typical story around. I love the anti-hero narrative from David Lawrence. This is one of my favorite shows but when I started season 2, it felt like I could be watching any other TV show online.

Mixology (2013–2014)

Satire about love and night life

If you like satire and understand the dating scene when going out, I think you'll enjoy this show. It isn't a realistic depiction if what happens but shows you the funny side of things when meeting new people or running into ex's.

A lot of reviews say it is dumb, bad, and without content. The entertainment that comes from this is subtle, reading in between the lines, and understanding everything behind it.

I can agree with them on one thing, it is a simplistic view of night life. I love it as it basically makes fun of it. So if you go out at night and have a good amount of experience mingling with the opposite sex, I think you'll find those show a funny way of passing the time.

After Earth (2013)

M. Night Shyamalan is only for certain people

Any movies I have seen from this guy I like a lot. Then when I check the reviews online - it seems I am the only one. So whatever this man does, it doesn't appeal to the masses. The style, pacing, story or whatever he does makes this a good movie for me. I enjoyed it.

So if you like M. Night Shyamalan, see this movie.

If you never seen his movies, don't go by reviews and see it for yourself.

And of course if you didn't like his other movies, I doubt you'll like this one.

IMDb wants me to put more lines in but there is really nothing else to say. The point is above and is all that matters. Anything extra I write will be junk.
