Chaos Theory (II) (2007)

interesting

I thought that the method that he used to determined what to do wasn't totally based on him not having any decision making at all. He chooses the cards. He chooses what is written the cards. It isn't totally by chance. He could choose only those that he likes as to what to write on the cards. He had some conscious decisions to determine what he was to do disregarding the picking of the cards. He could have marked the cards.

He wasn't living his life totally by chance with those cards.

He was living a lie with those cards.

The nature of which he took it seemed extreme.

He was doubting his decision making. Yet, his decision to "not decision" was his decision that affected his life since. One thing that he didn't notice was that he had no choice but to trust his own decision. It's inescapable. I first saw this sometime after someone said to me once "I don't trust myself"(that's why I destroyed my debit card). When the person acted on the decision to destroy his debit card, he was trusting his decision(therefore trusting himself).

When the main character was going thru this, he was trusting himself that he made the right decision for himself. What probably didn't realize was that there were things beyond a man's control. Bad things happen with that. Because of this, your average of happiness may be lower than the average despite all of the best choices for yourself.

Through the movie, I was thinking that he was making decisions for himself. It wasn't completely by chance.

Priceless (2006)
5/10
interesting but bad

I liked the basic story line. I liked what I saw except the use of language in some of the scenes. Following the yes's and no's made the movie difficult to follow at times. I too caught up in the confusion to follow what should be the intended following of the movie.

I don't know much french. But, I do understand "yes" and "no" in french.

I thought that the male and female main characters were fun to watch. He wanted her. She wanted to insure her future comfort. She was struggling with her future needs with her present wants. This caused them to go on an adventure together. She acquired an attraction to him. This caused her more trouble after she found a new man to sponge off of. She was using what she to get what she wanted. Apparently, she didn't want to work a regular job to achieve her future financial security. As a result, she was living an emotionally uneasy life. She had to rely on gifts to increase wealth without working.

Dollhouse (2009–2010)

interesting but flawed

I thought that it was interesting. The idea of manipulating the mind like treating it like a computer fascinated me.

I hated the use of some of the language. Some of the wrong way of answering 'yes or no questions' irritated me. I was caught in wonder of that rather than following the story a number of times.

I had trouble with the science of it. Assortment of visual things is around us. Television. kaleidoscope. random lighting or color effects from nature. Plus, there are assortment of radiation from the sun and other waves around. Echo from big bang. I saw something of a speech impediment problem caused by a wave or something like it from a machine by a doctor or scientist. He was probably doing an overload to cause the speech impediment. In any case, I had a problem with some of the science of the show because I didn't see how it was possible other than general possibility of reprogramming the brain. I figured that the brain works on a same concept as a computer. Although, I don't believe it to be with 0s and 1s. But, I do believe that on or off which a way is 0s and 1s is a huge part of it. I believe if clauses are naturally occurring in the brain.

My sister does neuroscience work. I merely wonder about it for myself. I thought that it could have been better with better scientific explanation. I probably wanted too much.

I didn't understand the lighting of the seat and transfer of information.
