Andor (2022)
3 episodes in and nothing has happened
I love the Star Wars universe. At the moment it just seems to be Andor running around looking constantly harassed. Don't get me wrong the sets look great and it's clear that money has been spent but I'm finding it dull. People are saying it's a breath of fresh air and that it's a change of pace but to me it doesn't feel like Star Wars. Why would you not want it to feel like Star Wars?
Andor has one movie to his name with Rogue One so he's hardly an iconic character and wasn't really a stand out in that. I'll give it another episode or 2 and see what happens but the way it's going I can see not finishing this unless it picks up.
Knuckle (2011)
Interesting but indecipherable watch
It was an interesting documentary. The accents were so thick and completely impenetrable. Apart from the fights themselves I didn't have a clue what was being said. At times it did feel like it was on craggy island.
Magnum, P.I.: Death and Taxes (1986)
Magnum goes Miami Vice
As stated a much darker episode than usual. No doubt inspired by the darker subject matter in Miami Vice which was at its peak at the time. An excellent change of pace. Time Selleck showing that he can show a serious side to his character and perfectly balanced with the Ripper. Great stuff all round.
Rogue Warfare (2019)
Practically unwatchable
As stated on another review I think I managed about 10 minutes of this dross before switching off. I love a good b movie but this isn't one of them. I doubt they could spell technical advisor let alone hire one. If you want something more realistic go and watch The A Team.
