I saw this film a while ago now, but I didn't forget it. It simply is one of those films that not a lot of people know, not a lot of people like, but I am one of those people. It just has something magical inside. I will confess that I've never seen the Korean version, but I do like this one very much. The cast was brilliant, the story, the film itself was so artsy, if that's the right word. Just beautiful. Now, I will not go into the details, because I may not remember everything clearly, but I do remember the end and as we all know, the endings are the best part and this film had a brilliant one. http://citizen-cinephile.blogspot.co.uk/

Everyone should watch it.

I accidentally watched the premiere screening at the movie theater, I just wanted to kill some time, in this case, saying everything happens for a reason actually fit. I was fascinated by this movie since the very first scene. I was thinking that maybe I lived under a rock, because I didn't know about this before, but that lasted for about ten minutes and then I just disappeared into the film. Stunning Oscar winning visual effects, soul touching message, brilliant cast, amazing music. Everything to the tiniest detail allowed me to feel the movie. It was one of those films that I thought about quite long time after actually watching it, it really touches you, and from my own experience, I have to say that one time isn't enough, and it doesn't matter that it is so long. 3D effect was a brilliant choice and still to this day I am telling everyone that Avatar is what 3D's been made for. Affleck strikes again

Argo was one of those films that I wanted to watch before the Academy Awards, since it's been nominated and won so many awards so far (especially after Critics' Choice Award for Best Picture) it was on the top of my list. I honestly have no idea what took me so long. It was impressive and I think it really is the best film that's been made last year.
The film just sucks you in from the very beginning and doesn't want to let you go before it's done. It is very authentic, super realistic and every single detail in this films is so well-made, Affleck put a lot of effort to make the best out of it. Even the film itself was colored as an old one. I loved how they re-created places and clothes, even hairstyles. I really felt like I lived in the 80's, while I watched it. Apart from the visual part of the film, the story line was super tense and rather interesting. You wouldn't let yourself to miss one second of this masterpiece and at some places, you don't even want to blink and the closer the end, the faster your heart beats. The acting ensemble was brilliant and Ben Affleck, himself gave a performance to remember, I honestly think that this one is the tip of his career, he never did so great, before this I admired him as a director more, now he's equally good as an actor, too.
All in all, I highly recommend watching ARGO, not only to sneak a peek at the real historical events, but also to see a well-made and intelligent motion picture, which allows you to take a look at the cinema industry - Hollywood from the inside, a little bit. http://citizencinephile.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/argo.html

I was so interested in this movie since that moment when I noticed that Ryan Gosling's in an action movie. I thought it's going to be something not very good. I was so wrong. As I started to watch it, I literally couldn't take my eyes off the screen, I loved everything in there, since the first conversation, which was so uncertain at first, until the last drive in the dark. I tried to compare this movie to others. I can say that some scenes may not be seen by kids or sensible people, like me, I turned away at some parts. But it only added some more charm to it. Somehow all those head blowing moments reminded me of Sin City. I should also say that the whole story was a little bit like Next Day Air, I mean all that confusing money thing. And that jacket.. That jacket is going to be a legend, maybe not as huge as red Rebel's jacket, but still. Cast was brilliant, I think it was literally the best Ryan Gosling's role ever. Even though he didn't talked much, he did an amazing job. And finally he's not only a drama and comedy actor. And Carey Mulligan is just precious, she's amazing at everything that she does. Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac, everyone was brilliant. I loved the soundtrack, too, but I only noticed music at the end of the movie. It's just because I was so into it and music was blending into scene so perfectly. This is probably one of my favorite movies now and I highly recommend it to those people who love action movies and to those who don't as well. It's not a typical action movie, watch it and you'll see why.

Better than I thought, but not good enough.

I wasn't even looking forward to see this movie, I picked it spontaneously. When it started I realized that I have no idea what this movie is about, but it was very interesting to watch a movie without any preliminary thoughts. I should say that it surprised me a bit, I was expecting to see something huge, because everybody was talking about it. But I didn't. I saw just another movie about Ancient Greece, just in different case. I couldn't say I didn't liked it at all, because I did. The thing is that I adore Ancient Greece and all movies about Gods and wars with a bit of fantasy. For the entire movie I was guessing how it'll ends and the end was a little bit unexpected, well, not exactly the end, but few minutes before that. And I wasn't very glad to see some special effects, could've done better, I think. All in all, it was a very nice way to run away on a Friday night, but nothing else.
