I've seen the original many times over and this movie just seemed reuse anything and everything that made the original film special. I was seriously hoping to see something that made the film stand apart. Don't get me wrong though. The film is beautiful and really shows how far technology has come in the past decade. It got to the point where I didn't care if I needed to go to the restroom during the film because I knew I wouldn't be missing something that I hadn't seen before. I guess my expectations were a little too high. Unfortunately, I expect this trend to continue in future Avatar movies.

The trilogy soared where this one fell

I personally loved the trilogies. They're my all-time favorites. But the story in this movie was the convoluted mess I've ever laid eyes on. The characters were poorly executed and had no substance. The plot direction left kept me asking...is this really it? What was Lana Wakowski thinking? This felt more like a cash grab than anything and was a huge disappointment to the Matrix fan base out there. Either you need to fix this or leave it be...please!

Great actors and an interesting story

I don't know what's these other critics expect out of the actors on the show. It's mostly teenagers and not all teenagers are smart. So why should they all be superior intellects in this show? The show isn't very predictable. Just accept the show for the way it is. Magical, thrilling, interesting, and adventurous.

Appreciate this movie for what it is - a modern day depiction of the book of Revelations. How could you go about giving this movie a 1/10? This movie is one of the best Christian movies ever made. The acting is great. The cinematography is excellent. Give this movie a chance and you will not be disappointed!

What A Fantastic Idea

I feel that the show's overall concept and idea is brilliant! With the use of Sean Bean's exquisite acting skills and his portrayal as Martin Odum, they made it off the floor with a blast. You are not provided with too much information from the beginning, but enough to keep you satisfied and engaged to where you are not too confused.
The idea is both suspenseful and thrilling, but definitely could be a little less serious. Some humor here and there would provide a lot more to the show's overall authenticity. The constant dark suspenseful mentality of the this action-packed TV show for the majority of the time can be a little too much for some viewers.
But if you're looking for a concept that is fresh, fun, and exciting, I highly recommend this.
