The brits never seem to get tired of their sherlock holmes stories but I guess we Americans like our Inspectors with lots of Gadgets...Anyways, I only watched this show because one of the reviewers on here said that the lead character was a classic in the making. I have to agree with that. What makes this show interesting is the characters. With a title like "Death In Paradise" it sounds like a dark drama but it's really quite light and very enjoyable watching the typical stiff arrogant brit making his way a round a crime scene in Saint Marie island while also looking for afternoon tea and biscuits in the noon hour. This show has huge potential. I like it a lot

I've been following the work of these Producers for a while and I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect before I started to watch the show. However, I was quite surprised it was really good and I like the fact that its geared to a younger crowd and an online crowd. The F*N countdowns are becoming a classic and I really look forward to seeing the next countdowns. Bobbie O is an ICON in the making she really has the good for an on air personality so funny and natural and light hearted. Kyle Trudeau is the perfect counter balance. The two of them really make for a funny combo. The show is funny and edgy at the same time. I looking forward to seeing more

Honestly, I watched the first few episodes of season 1 because I was a fan of Stargate SG1. However I just couldn't get into the storyline a few years ago when the show first started to air and the greenscreen was a distraction for me.
Now, I started watching the show backwards from season 4-3 and I'm working my way to season 2 and then season 1. Yes, its an odd way to watch a series but its super fun. It's like watching the history of the characters and how they evolved. The storyline is actually a great one, I think this is one of the best sci-fi shows on television right now. The production value is really good and the green-screen isn't a distraction anymore. I loving it!

Possibly One Of The Most Brilliant Movies Ever Made

I was fortunate to have been able to attend the to the Red Carpet Sneak Preview of this movie, and it's been a long time since I saw a movie that was so shocking, that pushed so many boundaries. The movie at first is a bit disturbing, I mean when you first hear the language, it's "cock this, cock that, cock..cock...and more cock!" While I was watching the movie I thought that I might end up going to hell just for watching it, but at the same time it's so captivating and spellbinding. Every scenes is so unique that your just hanging on the edge of your seat waiting to see what's going to happen next. I mean OMG! It's very obvious that there's a lot of sub-text in this movie, and while it hit all the stereo types, (i.e. Religious, Race, Culture, etc.) the writers and producers were careful not to focus to much on one issue. it was a good balance. There was probably over 400 people at this Pre-Screen and everybody was laughing so hard..the last time I sat to watch a movie in any theatre or venue where I heard so many people falling over and laughing on the floor was nutty professor back in the mid- 90's. This is probably one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. When the movie is formally released, I have no doubt it's going to make serious headlines.
