Such Doubts
16 February 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This was a movie full of intense dialog and symbolism.

It had one of the greatest casts of its year, and every single one of them, played there part beautifully. From the lovely and innocent Amy Adams, the intriguing Philip Seymour Hoffman, the doubtable and not forgiving Meryl Streep, to the mother that wants his son to survive till June Viola Davis.

The dialogs have a way of making you feel the emotion of the character they were spoken from, and just when you think you finally get who is wrong and who is right, there comes a symbol of some sort, or an action of one of the characters that makes you doubt them some more.

The movie is beautifully directed by John Patrick Shanley, who also wrote the scrip for the movie and the play its based on, so we can say that the adaptation is quite remarkable.

The end of the movie brings us face to face with one of the most natural and common feelings that a person has, even though they can shout out laud that they were "certain" of something or someone, Doubt.

This is quite a remarkable movie that needs to bee seen and seen again to understand, but i highly doubt that anyone will figure out who is right or wrong.

Disappointment
3 February 2012
I am sorry to say, but this film is no more then American propaganda at its finest and the awards it won were the ones that proved it. It's not a bad movie, but its not Oscar or any award material, it has nothing, its not even simple its not that complicated either. Its just a movie about the war that Americans have with themselves and this is the boost they needed. Really disappointing that the first woman to win an Oscar for directing was for this kind of... movie. You would think that after all these years of continues movies about the war in the middle east the one who should have one the most would have been more inspiring.

I know that this movie may have touched a lot of people or scared them, but even so, you can't say that it was a good movie, that it had the elements that make a good movie.

Masterpiece Classic
31 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know where to start. From the locations in witch it is filmed, to the way they are dressed, the comedy that comes from Maggie Smith's every single line? You can't say more or less then a "Masterpiece" From the very beginning you kind of get into the juicy stuff, the series lets you in their lovely home and the tense atmosphere from downstairs to the luxury life of those upstairs. It has such a lovely way of mixing the two that you just can't stop watching. And when it comes to the "Dowager Countess of Grantham" you can't expect less then perfect lines, filled with the subtlety of a person who has lived her life in a certain way. And, after the first season where it ends in a very sad way, season two comes and speeds things up, passing through many years, in witch we see how people change, how the war changes those who were bad and those who were good, leaving us desiring for more and more.

Smashing
31 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
It was good, from the beginning to the very end. It delivered ( from my point of view) very much, in one episode , and you kind of get and idea of who is going to be the bad guy, the good guy. The music was awesome, and i know that a lot of people are going to compare it with Glee, witch is not at all good because thats a totally different kind of story. Nothing to compare there, Smash has a more mature way of doing things "musically speaking". And for lets not forget Deborah Messing!!! I mean come on, she is sweet, nice and bossy and friendly and so on and so forth... Its good... Its all good.

Hoping that this series is going to have more then one season. It deserves more.

"I am Justice"
24 November 2011
A brilliant anime, well written and drawn. I simply love how the characters evolve and how many OMG moments there are in this series. The minds of the two main characters are simply extraordinary, it depends who you believe is the true "justice"

We see a lot of how the mind of Kira works and why he is doing everything, but so very little of "L's" witch makes him so intriguing. His one of the characters that have the best lines ( besides Riuk of course) and his own little rituals remind us of some other super intelligent detectives such as "Hercule Poirot" or " Sherlock Holmes"

The series evolves nicely and gradually, not leaving any plot holes ( or none that i have noticed) Im not going to say any spoiler's because it would be a waist, you must see this anime it really matches and even surpasses some Golden Globe and Emmy winning shows. Don't let the fact that it's and anime fool you. It will grab you and keep you until the very end!

The Help (2011)

A very emotional and simply brilliant movie
24 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is simply one great line after the other, the actors play perfectly and the story is very emotional.

The talented Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer play there characters so well that not giving them an award is simply shocking. The story is well written and delivers such a great message. The lines are in the movie are all memorable quotes from "You is kind you is smart you is important" to "Sometimes courage skips a generation" they all are so touching and so well said. All in all this movie must be seen, its a movie ticket well spent and you surely wont regret it. For the ones that read the book and go see the movie, i heard ( i didn't read the book) that the only problem is that it's not that much pressure on the effects if the book gets released what is going to happen to all the maids. But in defense of the movie, it has some well written comedy in it and that combined with the rest of story it really felt well not to add that element that we all are, at some point, aware it exists.

Another woman's secret is another woman's power
24 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
From the sharp narrator's tongue interpreted by Judy Dench to the bohemian Cate Blanchett this movie is simply outstanding. As the movie evolves so does the roughness and the cutting edge lines between Dench and Blanchett or with herself, when she writes in her diary.

The movie does not only have a great message ( witch has nothing to do with the affair, thats only a boiling moment) of what loneliness can do to you and how a person can became such a monster of hate and egoism when faced with a long life of solitude, but how friendship can be seen very differently

The last scene of the movie really makes an impact on how evil always finds another to torture and destroy.

Sex and the city 2
20 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I really understand the disappointment of the fans when this movie came out. We had the first movie where a lot of important things happen that change the characters. Carrie gets married, Samantha breaks up with Smith. Miranda gets cited on by Steve and Charlotte gets pregnant. I mean the first movie is a very nice add to the adorable and worldwide phenomenon that was the series. Saying all this in advance i must say that the critics to this film were way to harsh and way out of line. There much much worse movies that come out every year and even get awards. This movie should be seen for what it is. An escape from the real world, a vacation with " the girls" Its not the best and the story is not at all complex, but we get to Samantha in the "Middle" East. And one last thing. I don't see how this is an insult to anything even to the middle east. Lets be a little serious, there are series and movies who make jokes and comments about the middle east, this is only an experience of two majorly different world's. I only gave it 7 star's because i wanted to see more drama with Big and Carrie or with Aidan. But the movie was a great laugh and it was nice to see them all again.

What i truly want in for the future of this series is a Sex and The City 3 with them ( not a god damn prequel), that will close the mouths of those critics and angry fans alike. A movie that will have an ending that will not need another movie or a prequel. A last story of the 4 girls that every guy and girl loved to see once a week.

why is it so underrated??
11 May 2011
I really don't know why the people are so disappointed because this movie really is awesome, it delivers. It has the scariness it has the memorable scenes from the original, its better done then the original, Freddy is how he is supposed to be. If you didn't know the original Freddy was a child molester, witch at that time was thought as being to much. I think its a really cool and scary movies, i saw it at the cinema when it premiered and it really was scary. The hole idea, and the scenes in the school are awesome.

I think it deserves a ten for its incredible fidelity with the original and taking the risks that the first one couldn't.

A life in pink has no regrets, Milord
28 March 2011
To see this movie was a pleasure. Its astounding how a life can be so full of sadness but greatness at the same time. The tragic life of the singer Edith Piaf made people around the world cry and smile at the same time. It a story that cant be told in words, you have to see this movie to understand. I think it is the first movie ever , that made me actually depressed and amazed at the same time. From start to finish a heartbreaking emotional movie, with the help of Marion Cotillard that deserved her Oscar, from the moment the movie came on screen. Never before has an actress embodied such a character with such passion and such depth

Go rent this movie right now, it deserves being watched.

One of Disneys most underrated movies
23 February 2011
This may not be the classic Disney that kids are used to, but it has a much deeper and complex plot then the usual movies. From the animation, to the sound of the characters, everything is different, but in a good way. It's nice to see a movie that really keeps you in your chair, not knowing what is going to happen, when will it happen, the years that the company has spent in it's making really paid off.

Having seen all of the classic movies of Disney and this one seen last, i believe that it has more to give to the audiences then all of the others, more depth. Although it has been edited many many times, in fact i believe that it is the first movies to be edited my Disney, the dark part is still there, but not to scare the kids away, just to make them aware of the kind of evil lingers there. Overrall i believe that the movie is a masterpiece and its worth seeing, even if your not a kid anymore.
