Godzilla (2014)
6/10
Might have been good...

..., but...IT WAS TOO DARN DARK!!! I guess this is supposed to create suspense, but it just makes for a film filled with too much mystery and guesswork.

Maxie (1985)
8/10
With all the junk out on DVD and Blu-ray...
4 January 2022
..why hasn't this sweet, entertaining movie been released. I last saw it years ago, but have had it on my Amazon wish list for some time. The only way to buy a DVD of Maxie there is by paying over $500 for it! I love this movie, but not that much, and so it languishes on my list.

Boa (1990 Video)
Wrong movie
30 December 2021
This is not the movie named Boa from 2001 starring Dean Cain. It's under another name, New Alcatraz. There should be something that directs you to other titles like this situation. I'm watching this right now on Tubi, and it's listed as Boa, NOT New Alcatraz.

Kindred Spirits (2016– )
5/10
Not enjoying season 3, otherwise this would be an 8
22 May 2021
I just started watching this on discovery+, and was enjoying it until we started with demons and Chip Coffey. This is why I stopped watching Ghost Adventures. Stop with the drama, get rid of Chip, bring in Amy's friend, who seemed much more legit and much less dramatic.

Age of Tomorrow (2014 Video)
1/10
This is your warning - DO NOT WATCH THIS FILM
13 April 2015
I don't remember the last time I actually reviewed a movie or TV show here, just because I don't base my viewing habits on what others enjoy. We are, after all, all different and like to watch different things. After over 50 years of life, I can, however, safely say, NO ONE would like to watch this movie. I don't avoid Asylum movies; unlike some here, I don't think they're all awful, just many of them. I liked Sharknado (although 2 was pathetic), Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus had it's moments and Urkel of course, all grown up, and 2012: Supernova had Brian Krause, if you loved Charmed, you love Brian. However, Age of Tomorrow had no redeeming qualities - I'm sorry, but Kelly Hu and Robert Picardo's presence doesn't come even close to making it minimally acceptable. This movie could be used as a punishment for those in jail, to have to watch this movie over and over and over, it's that bad. Please, save two hours of your life, and DO NOT WATCH this movie!!!

Ravenswood (2013–2014)
8/10
Really not nearly as bad as reviews I'm seeing here
9 November 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I've been watching Pretty Little Liars since the start of the show. I enjoy it, especially since I can watch it with my now 17-year-old daughter, and we started watching Ravenswood as well together. PLL is not a great show, there are plot holes, story lines that have never really been resolved, and 'mysteries' that have been drawn out forever. The acting ranges from really good to mediocre. But... it's one of those 'addictive' shows that you just keep watching, because you need to know what the heck happens next.

Ravenswood is brought to us by the same people that brought PLL to life on TV (PLL started out as a young adult book series, but apparently it does deviate from the books). The only things Ravenswood and PLL have in common is the state they're located in (Pennsylvania; Ravenswood and Rosewood, the town PLL is set in are neighboring fictional towns), the fact that the leads are young people/teenagers, and Caleb Rivers, the only character to actually move from PLL to Ravenswood as a regular cast member. Just being a fan of PLL isn't going to guarantee you enjoy Ravenswood, unless you're also a horror/supernatural fan. The show started out a little slow and confusing for the first couple of episodes, but the latest one, the third one in, things really started coming together, and I can see some real potential for it being a pretty good show. At this point, I can definitely say we'll be continuing to watch Ravenswood.
