Midsommar (2019)
Bizzaro world, Children Of The Corn on LSD.
Terrible waste of anyone's time who had anything to do with this creation. That can also be said about anyone who had just tuned into this mess just to see where it was heading. I don't think the old people they hired to sit around the table and dance naked new what the movie might be about. I hope it was a big pay day for them because I would be embarrassed to mention it to anyone I knew. It is so slow in its movement (perhaps because of the geriatric amount of characters hired) that the director thought he was making a post card instead of a movie. Jack Johnson song lyric comes to mind,
" Where did all the good people go,
I've been changing channels
I don't see them
On the TV shows
Where did all the good people go,
We got heaps and heaps of what we sow"
This movie is a big heap.
The Beekeeper (2024)
Better than the "Transporter"
It may be because I get similar calls from rip off artist throughout the week that this movie turned into a feel good movie. You don't have to subscribe to AARP to know that there is a problem going on with elderly people getting bamboozled. The movie has tapped into a problem that is being ignored. I. Too bad there isn't someone watching over crooked agencies in our businesses and government. AC/DC song title "Money Talks" is close to the truth. The plot is simple and to the point. The action sequences are reminiscent of John Quick or some James Bond movies. It's better than a lot of movies I've seen lately.
The Noah Movie Deception (2014)
Well, there is artistic privilege at work here.
If it gets one to open up a bible and check for details, that's a good thing.
