Amazing show let down by last episode!
2 May 2021
Amazing show and over the last week myself and wife have rewatched every series which has been even better second time round but the last episode felt like such a let down and anticlimax. Such a shame. Will be forgiven if there is a 7th series but still not the big twist I was hoping for. Great acting overall. Please don't let this be the end of AC-12!

Take it for what it is and enjoy!!!

After reading and listening to the Audiobook of Red Notice I was cautious not to get over excited about a movie being made as rarely do that equal or exceed a book. However I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the slight negatives. It is a bit cheesy in parts which I don't get in Andy McNabs books but condensing a 10 hour book into 2 hours I guess there has to be sacrifices to get the story across to the audience. Secondly some of the scenes were on the silly side that not even The A Team would be able to get out of, but that's no difference to a Bond movie! My biggest negative is that in any McNab book, autobiography or fiction he goes into such detail which I really love, sadly not so much in this film. I know he advised on the film Heat to give it a realism on shooting scenes but not sure if that was the case in this movie. Positives are Tom Bucking felt like the same person I had pictured while reading the book and was likeable and for me Andy Serkis stole the show, loved his style in it. Noel Clarke is brilliant and would have liked to have seen more of him. Good lot of action, easy to watch and overall enjoyed it a lot.

Take it for what it is which is a easy to watch action movie with a fair amount of tension and blood!!!!

10/10 The world seemed a better place back then!

Amazing doc, loved the way it flowed, loved the way the narration was done with audio as opposed to having someone In the interview chair which definitely made it more romantic in my opinion. Yes a lot we have heard before but we have never heard it before in such a wonderfully mystical way. Loved it.

Sandler is no rough diamond!!!!

Nervous energy through out. Loved every second of it. For me personally eclipsed The Irishman and Once upon a time in Hollywood with both the acting and the storytelling. Adam Sandlers acting was better than all leads and supporting actors in all the big nominations for awards this year!!!

Fantastic

Good but not Goodfellas
28 November 2019
Really enjoyed overall but felt a bit disappointed on a couple of aspects of the film.

The effects on De Niro that were used at the beginning of the film although good seemed to be off slightly, the face seemed young but the body's seemed old, however it either got better an hour in or I got just got more accustomed to it as the movie went on.

The second slight negative was that it didn't seem to have the brutality or shock factor as say Goodfellas or Casino did which at times make it uncomfortable to watch but brilliant at the same time.

3 hours 29 minutes seemed more like 2 hours 29 minutes to me so I saw that as a positive as it didn't drag.

Overall a very good film.

Aiii What a Spy!!!

Big up yourself Mr Sacha Baron Cohen!!! I was worried that I would just be waiting for a laugh with the obvious similarities to Borat etc, but that soon went after a minute or two. The acting was fantastic, the story is a historical well shot drama/thriller with the love story, not only for his wife but above all his country.

All I can say is that I loved this movie, loved the action and especially loved the minimal use of CGI. A+

Good but not Wrecked!
21 May 2018
2 episodes in I'm finding it intermittently funny but not as laugh out loud as Wrecked which so far it's very similar too, so much so that I thought it was just a UK adaption until I read it was written and created and starring in by the very talented Marc Wootton. (Cyderdelic, My New Best Friend and La La Land series).
