Whilst the movie is well shot and the acting is good, the plot makes no sense. In an extreme situation anyone facing difficult decisions would have to do what it takes to keep anyone safe. Unfortunately the key character keeps on making poor decisions that lead to more problems. Pass.

At the time of the review the movie is rated a 7 on IMDb, I think the rating was or done by the crew and actors or people were paid. I can't understand how Sean Astin went from Lord of the Rings to this B movie. Times must really be hard.
The script and acting are just horrible, filming, music, pretty much everything is just wrong, you actually wonder who was even holding the camera during the shooting (i.e. someone with no experience at all or if they were still half drunk from the night before) as actors don't even fit in the frames most of the time. Avoid

Best movie I have seen in a while

First off I have to say I don't write reviews very frequently, but wow, this was just something I had to do. I am absolutely not a big fan of Vince Vaughn, I usually find his roles in comedy pretty stupid an uninteresting.
Who would have thought Vince Vaughn would be the next "action" star. Great movie overall, the only let down or reservation I have is related to last few seconds of the movie and the special effects used.
Watch it, you won't be disappointed.

The Movie concept started in a pretty interesting way but quickly turned into a poor remake of "misery". I can't honestly understand why Justin Long who is such a funny actor would even want to take up such a role. I understand the need to diversify your acting but we deserve so much better.
This movie is just completely disturbing. I have watched a lot of scary/horror movies in the past and this is probably the only one during which I felt like throwing up a few times, I could barely suffer through it until the end... Definitively a pass for me in so many ways. Don't even think about watching it with your date if you are hoping for her to jump in your arms (we all hope for the scary movie factor :) ).
Overall a very poor "remake" done in a completely troubling and disgusting way. It would be nice if more movies focused on the storyline/scenario and not on special effects (very poorly done may I add). Avoid at all costs!!!
