I've seen TV movies better than this!

First of all let me say I was forced to see this, and I admit it. I like AMERICAN IDOL, but I would never put any of the American Idol contestants in a movie unless they had acting talent. Everything about this movie sucked: the acting, directing, costuming, the plot, etc, etc, etc. I know it wasn't supposed to be some great masterpiece, but the movie studios shouldn't underestimate the level of our intelligence as they did with this movie.

I hate how FOX keeps bringing this show back and then cancelling it. Sometimes you can get lucky and catch it on Sci-Fi, but still. This is an awesome show! The stories are some of the most fascinating and creepiest stories I have ever heard. FOX: PLEASE PUT THIS SHOW BACK ON AND LEAVE ON!!!!!!!!

Road to Perdition (2002)

Excellent

Like everyone else, I was very surprised to see that Tom Hanks was going to be playing a killer, but this is what made me first want to see the movie. I thought it was very well done, with wonderful performances by Tom Hanks and Paul Newman and wonderful directing by Sam Mendes. I give it 8.5/10 stars.

Top Hat (1935)

Cute, cute movie

Last year, my school drama club did Romeo & Juliet set in 1940's black and white. We were assigned to watch this movie and I ended up absolutely loving it. Fred Astaire is awesome! I found this movie both cute and hilarious. I loved all the songs and dances in it and even burned a CD with some songs from the movie. I would recommend this to anyone who loves old movies, musicals, and cute romantic comedies.

This is a great show

I learn something new everytime I watch it. This is one of the few shows where I can really find out how some of my favorite actors and directors approach their craft. The Tom Hanks one is my favorite. What can I say? This show is brilliant!

Clone High (2002–2003)

Thank God someone at MTV has a brain!

After Daria was cancelled, I wondered if MTV would have another intelligent show like that again. Then I saw Clone High for the first time a few weeks ago, and I loved it. The show itself is funny, and if you know about historical characters the show becomes even funnier. The creators did a wonderful job with matching historical figures to high school stereotypes. JFK is hilarious. Make sure you watch this show! Don't let it get cancelled!

Gangs of New York (2002)

Absolutely fabulous!

This movie is GOOD. I could not speak for about a minute after the movie ended because I could not believe what I had just seen. Martin Sorcese is a wonderful director and Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo Dicaprio are both extremely talented actors. While I did feel sick from the extreme violence in the movie, I feel that this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I would love for it to win some Oscars.
