Kingdom 3 (2023)

Kingdom Is Great

I have been so tired of Western films in the last 10 years, and Kingdom has been a breath of fresh air, from 1-3. The writing, camera work, audio quality, soundtracks, story arcs, are simply all stellar. Which made me give this 10/10 for the valiant effort of this movie. No agenda BS like the West, just pure fun, emotional stories, powerful visuals, and this is the classic show me and don't tell me concept in fine style. I have played games that have lost this, and watched shows that have lost this concept. I have had chills to the point of emotional tears, of just being happy I can watch and enjoy. I am literally done with Western shows, and may shows like these continue to fill the market. So we can see what we are missing.

Berlin (2023– )

Love Story Heist

I can understand many wanted this to be like the other Heist. However, it is about Berlin, a passionate man, and a great actor. The show is a true love story, that has 4 arch's that goes in different paces and directions. The dynamics is great, and the acting is sublime, but this is not really about Heists. So as long as your expectations are tempered that this is about Love Stories you will give this a high mark. Berlin the connoisseur of love lines in Heist shows. Is what made me know this was not about the Heist as the title shows his name huge. Berlin gets a lot of time early on, but I think it is balanced in how they present the other love stories. Go in with your expectations that this is a love story and less about Heists.

Pantheon (2022–2023)

Brilliant 4 Episodes

It is brilliant, impactful, and very well done. It was a great surprise for me, and I can't wait to watch more. So far the 4 episodes are top notch, and dialog is not wasted. It is all well written, and the cast is so well done. The pacing is also well done, and it has some mystery to discover. I can't wait to see what comes next, and I recommend this for anyone who enjoys a bit of science and mystery. I gave it a 10 for the mere fact it is better written than a majority of the TV shows on all streaming platforms. It simply goes to show that if you don't force creativity it will come naturally and that is what makes this anime so easy to digest. No agendas, no forced identity pushing, just simple story telling.

Fate: The Winx Saga (2021–2022)

1st Season ok 2nd Season meh

This show started off well, but for some reason, they have fallen flat during the second season. Dialogs are so awkward you can tell they are fillers to add up to the 45 mins. They could barely even get to 45 mins on some of these episodes. The other sad thing is the teen desperation throughout the second season. The lack of urgency although the world is falling apart, and the constant mention of the the main girl's super power. You are the super power, I alone have the super power, you can save the world with your super power. It is so over done that I think they literally ran out of script and started to add those lines as filler. This show needs better writers, for the world is beautiful, visuals and lighting is great. It's just the bad writing and directing that makes this so bad.

The Terminal List (2022– )

Action Packed, Emotional, Suspense, Just Great

This show was a fresh air finally. Unlike the Netflix agenda type shows, this show simply tells a story of epic nature. From the first episode to the last, you will be entertained. No hidden agendas, no isms and schisms, just a great story.

Motherland: Fort Salem (2020–2022)

Could have been a 10

This show was getting good until they started serving the LGBT audience like they think all LGBT community needs to see desperate kind of love. It's like they can't breathe without each other, while the straight couples are normal. It was simply overdone, and many of my LGBT friends agree. To my surprise, season 3 was worst. It was bareable in season 1 & 2. Many stupid mistakes were made, like letting one of the leaders go over stupidity. Then fighting like idiots cause I can't find my girlfriend. Then crying like idiots and the story just started to fall apart. Attack on the white house as if that is so easy to do. Why oh why must they think story needs over embellished emotions?

The Sea Beast (2022)

It was a surprise

You wont be dissapointed. The animation, the music, the visuals, and the characters are all well done. I now wish there was a game much like this, but hey there is so I now feel it is time to return to Black Desert Online to hunt sea monsters.

Polaroid (I) (2019)

It's a Fall Flick

I think the directors took this for a joke. Every single girl in this film falls to the ground. It seems all these young girls are weak in the knees. The lighting was ok, dark and horror theme. Still, the film was ok, but not scary. I have seen worst, so it gets a 5. Just the overdone falling of women was annoying to me.

Never Have I Ever (2020–2023)

It is funny, speaks about issues, teaches through examples

So often we come upon gems that we can suggest to our kids. As a father of two teens a boy and a girl, this is perfect for me to suggest. It has things they can see play out in their lives, and also examples on what not to do. But hey it's just a great watch. Has a deep emotional connection, does not take itself too seriously, and very intense topics.

You (2018–2024)

It is a soft masterpiece

It is dark, well narrated, but so subtle it pulls you into the darkest of them all. You could literally think the person has it all together, but then have to snap yourself back to reality in realization he is damn crazy.

The Witcher (2019– )

Really good start

I was wondering how they would converge the stories of all the main characters, and I must say this was wonderful writing in telling those 3 big story arcs. I can see Season 2 colliding and giving us one great story. I enjoyed it, combat was to cutty, but visuals were stunning, it stayed true to the rawness of it. All in all, a good start for a franchise I adore.

Daybreak (I) (2019)

Reflection of the real world

This is a really good show, that many wont understand, but it speaks to society today. Adults are basically obsessed zombies to a thriving world of teens trying to find their way. Some of the writing is corny, but it is meant to be so, and their are lessons to be elarned. To watch it at face value is an injustice.

Glitch (2015–2019)

Really great acting, no massive special effects, just great acting

I was pleasantly surprized for this series had me hooked. The acting was so damn good I cannot say enough about it. You felt the intensity from every side story and every section of the main story. The mystery presented was also well done, and I am hoping they expand on this series.

I think this show captures all the essence of a troubled marriage... Usually a stable man has am unstable woman or a stable woman has a man that has no balls in this case they were both the persons a stable person should not have..

You will understand why I said that..

The acting was heart felt and I could feel the pain the happiness the frustration everything was juiced into making this experience memorable.. give it a watch If at the end of this movie you don't feel like you know these people. Watch it again.. Truly awesome acting, really nice storyline..
