dmolino-1
After years of faithful service, Molino went into the film sector as a film editor, editing on AVID’s Film Composer and matching back to negative using keycode and edge numbers. From there graduating to Post Production Supervisor, overseeing the workflow of nonlinear post-production, to the final delivery of a 35mm printmaster.
Engineering played a major role in his career advancement, there were few who could assemble and disassemble a workstation, troubleshoot and problem solve system failures of very complex media servers, deploy and integrate software and hardware, lock to 59.97 or 23.98 frame playback, administer system configurations related to very complex video playback engines being used, while under the pressure of daily deadlines. He was the one to call with real answers and solutions.
Molino set his sights on storytelling, his true passion is the art of doing, and doing is what he has done for the last 10 years. With four films under his belt and two more in production, a few awards, one can say for sure that he is determined to make his mark.
Molino always finds a platform to raise awareness and incorporates it into his storyline. You are sure to get the message intended cleverly executed.
A technical geek has gone creative.

Choke (2001)
I liked it!
In my opinion; I liked this movie. I think the writing was above board. To put two really good Hollywood actor's together and not create an abomination coined as a feature film, is a monumental task. Dennis Hopper and Michael Madsen were great. Give the Director credit, for a low budget film, this film is far better than the crap we are forced to digest on Netflix and Blockbuster. The setup I felt was interesting, and Hopper's character was riveting from the first moment he hit the screen. The confrontation and spin in the plot was when Hopper's character throws the body out of the window. The introduction to Madsen's character (Classic Madsen bad guy) adds a good spin to the story, and the resolution is a twist unexpected. Even though the dialog was a bit verbose, it was still good dialog and story driven. And let's not forget the 200 ft. SuperBee pipe ramp. Classic and well done! If you want to sit down and take the film apart, you will surely find something to *itch about. Honestly, you can sit down for 95 minutes and be entertained. Enough said.
