Bodyguard (2018)
Ruined by the last episode
The series follows the same climax as Game of Thrones, in just 6 episodes. It starts well, the character of the bodyguard develops, the plot is good. And suddenly, everything is ruined by the last episode. It's hard to believe the last episode is written by the same author.
Two Fish (2017)
Very poor
Very poor acting, in the first 30 seonds I thought I was wathcing a porn film, and this feeling never left me.
Very bad dialogs.
Empty story.
Worse lgbt film I have ever seen.
Private Romeo (2011)
This adaptation is inadequate
I loved the modern adaptation of Romeo+Juliet by Baz Luhrmann with Leorando Di Caprio. I thought it would be interesting to push it a step further with a gay relationship. Except that it doesn't work.
It doesn't work to call a guy "Juliet", to call him Madame. Maybe it would work with a film about transgender.
It doesn't work for a unified class to be split along two opposite camps (the Capulets & the Montagues). Maybe it would have make sense with a small group of special forces corp confronting a small group of terrorists.
It doesn't work for a small budget film with only a dozen actors to take place in a huge military school.
Last but not least, I did not like the way the camera was handled. Many times, the image is blur, and I'm even not sure this is done on purpose.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Typical stupid American film
The "raiders of the ark" is probably a genre by itself.
It is not an action film. You should not expect more than a couple of gunfires and some whisp tricks. Is it realistic? Not at all, except if you consider that a man can move a pyramid's hone to escape from the pyramid.
It is not humoristic, either (is there a single play on words?). Actually, it is rather completely stupid. A typical scene is the guy who sees a skeleton and howls like a fool for five seconds.
The scenario is very boring. There is not a single second of suspense.
Ironically, what makes the film watchable is the soundtrack. No, actually, it is not sufficient, I stopped watching near the end.
Really, I don't understand how many people can consider this crap deserves to be watched. How can it be in the top 250 ?
Bean (1997)
Not inspired
Mr Bean the movie is cruely lacking of inspiration. It is simply a patchwork of the TV series, which is definitely very disappointing. The film itself is not bad, however, and people who haven't seen all the TV episodes can really enjoy the film.
