Fortress of War (2010)

Eternal memory to all those who fought for the freedom of our Motherland

Great movie! Once again, I was convinced that the really high quality movies we have shot, filmed and will be removed in the future. The patriotic content, acting, thought-out developments - the upper class. This is good news, because from the first seconds of the film you become attached to him, his view can not refuse. Unable to allocate a certain actor - they all played like a great orchestra, a single mechanism, with great dedication and skill of the game paying tribute to those who gave their lives for our great country, for our freedom, for the clear sky above our heads. There are some movies that are dearer to me than any foreign high-budget "action games." "Brest Fortress", as well as several other military and patriotic films made in different parts of our fatherland, will remind us of the Great Victory, which is extracted in the glow of the battles our ancestors, people who are not sparing himself, rushed to defend the country from the very first hours of war, World War II. Our tribute to this great feat - my memory of them, which also includes the creation of patriotic films like "Brest Fortress".

Again, the film affects the magnitude of the explosions and accuracy of events. Not for nothing, when you create a movie, documentary evidence used to reconstruct as accurately as possible the situation that arose in the fortress at that difficult time.

As the fighting scenes were filmed - it is generally impossible to comment on. High level production of hostilities simply indescribable - before he delivered quality.

It is significant that at the beginning and end of the film sounded wonderful song "On the Hills of Manchuria", which was originally devoted to another heroic feat of our soldiers, but that it is the best fit in this movie.

I am infinitely grateful to the creators for the idea to remove this film and the actors who performed their roles very well, gave it to the max. Thank you for this wonderful picture! Eternal memory to all those who fought for the freedom of our motherland. Let's not forget about the difficult victory, which extracted a high price for us, our ancestors! Their courage, endurance, boundless will to win and a great desire not to give up, there is a great example for us! The town where I was born and lived, Odessa, is the proud title of "Hero City". The Brest Fortress is the only castle to be awarded such a high calling, earning him, as all city-heroes, the blood of its defenders, and their courage! About the great feat of strength, character and other cities-heroes do not forget ever!

Almost no one does not eliminate

The film is great, great special effects not so much the relationship of people on the screen. Continue and complete its series of three films, Mikhalkov is taking another step towards success, it is incredibly beautiful ending epic. I liked this movie, I thought, without any I put him to the highest score. I know that many claims there are those who, frankly, the movie did not like or simply ugly. Therefore I want to remind these esteemed ladies and gentlemen of the fact that each film is designed for its audience and if you want to see a replay of the foreign action-movie with lots of explosions and "the main words," that before his death, said one of the key characters, I have to disappoint you - this you will not see here. Everything you see here - it's a great game actors attached to each frame of film and the incredible interest in the developments taking place in the picture. Incredible to those who have lost faith in the national cinema, and himself without realizing it, bowing to a greater extent, to foreign cinema. I think it's never too late to admit to himself in this "love." Also like to remind everyone that this film is not historical, but based on the actions of the war, so do not look for it the historical realities, even though a large part horrific and seemingly impossible realities of war in its present.

It is worth noting that, without doubt, Mikhalkov as a director and as an actor, I think it got rather big experience. I will not try to assume how much time was spent shooting, but I will say that every shot, every scene has been perfected to the smallest detail, worked out at the highest level. Frankly, I do not expect such a plot twist that was in the movie and it surprised me that on the right only to me a pleasant feeling. I thank you for this wonderful Mikhalkov's epic! I watched the film with his father and cousin. They both liked it too, and my dad, after watching, I said a very wise phrase: "If you like the movie very much, then you should not pay attention to minor rankings." And, you know, I am now myself so I think that the rating is not important, more importantly, how you took this movie.

I liked this episode, not primarily because of the jokes (although they were very successful in some places), but precisely because it really shows the position of troops on the Western Front of WWI. No wonder he is assigned to the genre of "history" here, really, everything just the way it really is. Honestly, when I watch the show, I have a feeling that I read the story of the events of the First World on the Western Front. All shown exactly as it was for the British, who can not will move forward seriously, happy every meter of land seized, brochures propaganda page which they use in carrying out their natural needs, unbridled moral position among the soldiers of Great Britain ... In general, all so realistic and believable that joke just give a special interest in watching.

All the main characters of their natural behavior of soldiers on the Western Front and some "army" humor attracts the eye. Each episode is filled with jokes and a certain degree of presence is sometimes enough not believable stories, designed to bring a smile to the viewer.

In the end I want to say that actors are chosen very well fit into their roles and were able to convey the true atmosphere of the events of the First World on the Western Front.

Great film about great peoples

After film viewing at a cinema I was overflowed with emotions. All film to me never was to be looked on hours, moreover — I did not want, that it is a fine film came to an end in general because all it — from the beginning and is up to the end thought over very well. All roles, at the highest level are played by talented actors. The scenario is written ideally.

The idea of a film is very interesting. The film forces us to think about almost most Insufficiently studied a Great Patriotic War episode. He forces to reflect on those people who stayed under fascist occupation, for those who revived belief of these people in God or gave the chance to people to pray in the temples violently converted in clubs. Certainly, all this revival occurs against German occupation. It is impossible to tell that Germans promoted Orthodoxy revival, it was only the step that in case of successful capture of the earths of our Fatherland to seem to us not invaders, enemies, and deliverers from Bolshevist's the authorities. But, fortunately, at them it it has not turned out. I even think that war has a little helped Orthodoxy revival, but I do not try to protect aggressors at all.

I was interested by one of film episodes when in a room where the father sits, the fly flies. As a whole about one half-minute on the screen we observe the world eyes of a fly. I wish to notice that it has not made any influence on a plot, the director has decided to show it simply so, underlining that the nature takes place to be even in such dramatic film. I am not going to spend analogies with any or films, but in November, 2009 I could look absolutely other on a genre a film «Ukroshchenie stroptivykh» where about one minute we saw the world eyes of a bee which too has not brought any contribution to an overall picture, but in particular the director and all its creation has been strongly enough scarified for this episode. Into this account I will tell the following: «the Person wishes to see nonsense of an episode in that film which about any to it was not pleasant to the reasons and consequently criticizes almost any episode of the film which has not pleasant to it».

But I will return to this film. Sergey Makovetsky, has served its purpose simply irreproachably, perfectly well, with full self-return. It so has reincarnated in a role of the cleric that if I did not know it as actor earlier, I would think that in a film have invited to act in film the present father. Other actors, which surnames, I think, it is not necessary to sound also were on the ball.

Such films as "Pop" are postponed in heart for ever. Having looked such cinema, cinema let out by our Fatherland about ours, the Russian history, it would be desirable to be proud of the Native land even more, than was proud earlier.

Know, when I started to look a film, I hoped to see though something interesting. Interesting I have not seen anything. The film plot is banal, but it not the main reason of its failure. Personally it seems to me that there would be a director and actors is more professional, the picture would turn out where more interestingly.

Sound registration … And it was?! I have not paid any attention though also the sound was five-channel to it.

500 000$ have been spent for a film … It that, the salary to actors and people who created special effects of the third grade?! About the present budget for a film producers and the nobility did not know. If had though the slightest representation about the budget have concerned it more seriously … Though, it seems to me, is more serious for these producers it is 3-4 million dollars. Here by itself the conclusion — or producers — misers arises, or they are not able to get money for similar films. Well it is considered it. They have shot a film «simply so», at all quickly to earn though any sum of money, and is not clear in general for what! We look at the country-manufacturer … the USA … the Country which "dictates" to all world as it is necessary to shoot films … Much, yes that there, the majority of people likes the American insurgents, a fantasy about other worlds … do not argue, films really qualitative. But that I see here. Here I do not see anything. Being expressed cultural, a film on 1 time. Simply I want, that those who strongly criticize films of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarus manufacture and thus add «here in the USA are able to remove qualitatively always» understood, as in the USA there are films which do not deserve serious perception.

I have regretted founders of a film, having put them an estimation «on prospect». Only that sincerely I hope that it will be possible to create that that such that will be valid to be worthy. I wish their of good luck!

The film causes disgust. During its viewing I had time and again a desire to switch off it, but I have not made it, since. I respect creativity of any director. But, nevertheless I will tell that anything special in this film that that clever and interesting I have not found.

About what a film? Plainness of a plot which is invented for no reason, absence of interest to which speaks that lust and platitude is present at it through every minute-two. Specially for "the dark" people who are not understanding anything in a life and relations between the man and woman Dzherard Butler which has played the leader of the program on TV «the Naked truth», tries to "throw light" on sex and everything that with it it is connected. In its opinion, each person thinks only of sex. The interesting statement, but nothing confirmed and nothing meaning. Therefore also there is at me, (and I hope not only at me), a sensation of delirium and groundlessness.

As to Ketrin Hajgl, its character in a film first does not trust the leader, and then, on the contrary, completely trusts in its "councils" in which anything as I already spoke, clever, instructive it is not observed.

What as a result? As a result — the usual comedy melodrama created in what it is impossible to be surprised, in the USA. After the only thing, fortunately, viewing of this "creation" I have even more doubted that the director of this film can create something worthy, for reception of pleasure from a film, at least in a genre a comedy/melodrama. I wish it sincere successes, but, I hope that platitude which "is normal" for a modern cinema of the USA, will not be absolutely.

The sea of an action and pleasure from viewing

Having looked a film I has received weight of pleasure! This is the best Russian insurgent of second half of 2009. I was convinced of it practically since first minutes of this remarkable film. Here there is no latent implied sense, anything that forces to ponder strongly upon a plot, to search for any intricate details in it Here all it is visible clearly — it is necessary to finish thinking nothing most, all founders have presented before us.

Separate admiration I wish to express concerning special effects, music underneath on a course of all film and staginess, an event saturation on the screen. All is made very professionally, at high enough level. Ah, yes, and all for any 3 500 000 dollars! The soundtrack is perfectly entered in each detail of a plot. This film on two, and even three heads above than «Zapreshchennaya realnost» in which budget have enclosed 7 000 000 (twice above!), and return have received very small — both in gathering, and in popularity. Then what not the budget the main thing, but the main thing is quality of shooting. In a picture «Na igre» it is accurately looked through — as for rather small money it is possible to make the qualitative insurgent.

Actors have played the roles too at high level. To tell the truth at me such impression is made that roles have been written specially for them.

I thank all who took part in creation of this fine creation, for the received huge pleasure from its viewing!

Expectations have justified

Expected a good comedy My expectations have justified. Have justified with interest, it not simply good, but a magnificent comedy. Has gone on this film to a cinema with the friends. Have laughed perfectly. Time did not consider, but the smile did not leave me and my friends in a current of all session. It was very cheerful. The plot, in my opinion, is thought over well. Certainly, there are nuances, but from a film they have not affected a general impression. I liked the scenario, successfully picked up actors whom the roles have perfectly played. Succession of events a bit predicted, but fairly decorated with good, kind jokes. Really, I have looked a film on one breath, equally worried about all heroes, expected the good, light termination of a film. The light termination is, but it is a little притемнённое that businessman Murzik remained one. As to flight of a bee, it no more than to what not adhered scene inserted into a film simply so, for a change. I consider it is not necessary to do a point of issue from this.

Here I would like to allocate the basic heroes, actors, to give them characteristics: Anna Semenovich, played blonde Marina, girl Fedi, frankly mows first half of film under the foolish. At first I not especially understood, for what it so conducts herself, but then when it has opened Fede that behaves so because heard that men like foolish girls more, I have understood all. It has appeared the film critic. At them with Fedej, fortunately, on a film all has ended well because he very much loved cinema. Anna Semenovich has served its purpose with high self-return, its heroine was interesting any more by the beauty, and true I, is artificial in the covered image of the foolish blonde. It has perfectly served its purpose. I can without exaggeration, tell to it "Gallantly".

Igor Lifanov, huntsman Mihalych, strange enough person at first. But on plot process, it appears very formed person whom becoming the huntsman, has decided to disappear from the city problems. Its character too very amusing first, but equally also is interesting by the change. Михалыч becomes more liberated. As acknowledgement it is served by that in the end of a film, Katya who has thrown businessman Murzika, remained with it. As far as I understand, both of them the friend the friend were pleasant, that at first will not tell.

Julia Galkin, model Ekaterina Kolycheva, too the character which should be noticed. Its unusual, whimsical character from the beginning even irritated me. But then, having changed, as well as all other protagonists of a film, even began to cause interest to the person. She has learnt to milk a cow, and also without problems to get eggs which got to it with great difficulties earlier. As it seems to me, it has found the happiness in the name of huntsman Mihalycha.

Andrey Fedortsov, Fedja, Marina's guy, did not understand it in the beginning. After their straight talk, they could not come off from each other, it was about what to talk — about cinema which was pleasant both Fede, and Marina. On a plot at all of them has ended well, even it is possible to tell remarkably. It would be desirable to be glad for them. But I will return to the description of character Fedortsova. Its character is attractive that after fair quantity of misunderstanding with Marina, all the same reaches mutual understanding with it, finding thus, the happiness.

Andrey Noskov, the businessman of "Murzik". Too rather interesting hero of a film of which frankly became a pity to me. It has not found the happiness — it remained one. That has not turned out to reach at it to what mutual understanding with Katya. It, of course, the sad fact, unique unpleasant in this comedy. But after all all cannot be always good at all. It once again underlines originality of the scenario on which this film has been shot. Itself Socks has served its purpose too very well.

Also I wish to note Igor Kalyonova's big director's work, the talented director which besides the straight line, director's work, became one of script writers and producers of this film.

After viewing of a film it would be desirable to thank all those people whom I have listed also which have not entered into my transfer, but worked over this fine and kind film, for the given huge pleasure which I have received after viewing of their creation. The film has turned out very ridiculous and kind. It would be desirable that such films was more and more.

The film has touched me to depth of soul … very good cinema. A plot not especially intricate. Good work of all command of founders — from actors and to the director. The Buddhist monastery in which there are all basic events of a film, becomes an inhabitancy of the young men just devoted in monks. They are not indifferent to football. Therefore in the evening they will run from a monastery that for money to look football on the TV … Them casually find out … the World championship ending on football Comes nearer. They by all means wish to see a final. Here that to me was to be underlined, as the director of a film has shown their bent for to football, to be exact to its viewing. They have achieved the permission to look football in a monastery, have got the TV and nevertheless, to my satisfaction, have looked a final … Very good film. In me it has caused the big storm of the emotions which part the person reading this review can see.

But it is necessary to look at first ten minutes of a film. The battery is shown, on tools cords on which the sailor's clothes dry are attached. Moreover, it has been subjected to an attack from outside the sailor who at first has tried to strike it from a fist, and then when the officer has gone to the commander of the battery to the engineer, has shot at a trace to it from a rifle. Personally to me it is difficultly trusted in such behaviour of the sailor in 1915. Let's present the same situation in Red Army in 1943. That the officer in reply to the insult and disobedience, and also on a shot in the party has made? The sailor would be betrayed at once to tribunal and most likely in a consequence is shot for infringement of military discipline in a wartime.

The person badly knowing history, can think that only they struggled with revolts, and the tsar and the power were unable cope with "the people demanded freedom» and the revolution arranged on money of the American bankers.

The film has looked after viewing of "Admiral". I can not tell that has received even the slightest pleasure from viewing because "Admiral" is removed in correct, patriotic light, instead of in cold, gloomy twilight.

Vampires and... blood

The film certainly is worthy, but only for those people who love horrors. I do not concern such people, therefore, having looked this film, have put it not especially an appreciation.

What to tell concerning the film? I liked in this film special effects, music … On it the list of that was remembered to me after film viewing comes to an end. In my opinion, the scenario is put not so successfully. No, it is impossible to tell that in general it is bad, I have understood a plot, but on excellent", in my opinion, does not pull. The main heroine, Megan Fox, has served its purpose well enough but as that is not completely professional as it seemed to me. I was touched by its main heroine, its image has not sunk down to me in soul. Perhaps, it is simple that I do not feed a particular interest for a genre of horrors. As to a plot a plot as I wrote above, I have understood. But all the same, as that is languid, not enough founders of a film tried to inform to the spectator the events developing under the scenario.

Once again I will underline that it — only my opinion.

Popsa (2005)

Cinema with character

In my opinion, the film left very interesting. In it there is all: a truthful life of the show business, interesting development of a plot, actors who, as well as possible approach for the roles. Therefore I wish to give particular attention to two actresses, played leading roles.

Elena Velikanova, Mstislava, Slavka or as she of named — Santa. The girl from the provincial small town, playing a guitar. Acted at many competitions and after that has decided to go to Moscow to make the way on a platform, to prove to be. Partially it is possible to it, as, having arrived to Moscow, it comes to the woman who was at it in a city last year with the crooner — Tatyana Vasilevoj, to the person who can untwist practically any. She hardly agrees to help Glory and tries to advance it in show business.

Very accurately and in correct light all problems rising on a way of the main heroine are shown. The film looked without tearing off a sight because it was interesting, than it will end. Therefore and an estimation to it.

LOpuKHI (2009)

Cocktail from jokes and improbable adventures

Has gone on a film with desire to have a good time. Jokes and humour has received so much that I recollect till now. When on the screen there was a new joke auditorium directly таки started to laugh as one person. To me the positive moments of this film were remembered many. Be in another way cannot, as the film has really turned out very ridiculous. I will not compare this film to a film «Hitler kaput!», though «Hitler kaput!» Very much it was pleasant to me. I will not be and simply I can not, because though these both films concern a genre of comedies, but each of them was pleasant to me in own way. I will put a film «Lopukhi: Epizod pervyy» in one number with such good comedy as «Hitler капут!», after all comedies for this purpose also are created to cheer people up.

But I will return to the given film. How protagonists have played? They have played very well, and were perfectly entered in film events.

I will begin perhaps with Sergey Pisarenko who has played in a film of the hero, enough unusual, rural guy, cheerful, with the highlight. It to me was pleasant and remembered in a film by that it has shown the essence during acquaintance to Alina, having beaten off from it hooligans and thus having fallen in love with it.

Evgenie Nikishin who has played in a film of the amusing fat man, enough intelligent, but too with the interesting character. It to me was remembered by that has proved on refuelling very courageous, it is possible to tell even "terrible". Its love for Masha has shown all its tenderness.

Andrew Ndzhogu, played the Negro who was as well as possible entered in all this cheerful company, has added the singularity to it. It to me was remembered by that liked to swear on a situation, to show the discontent concerning it.

Michael Politsejmako, Karlito Brigante, the first agent whom have sent behind "Lopukhi". Frankly speaking, to it has not carried in a film very much as it was forced down three times by the car.

Dmitry Nagiev, "Alain Delon", the such James Bond, called to eliminate objectionable people, executing will of the boss. He has played not especially big role, but nevertheless too deserves interest to the character.

Michael Gorevoj, on the call signs established by Alain Delon, "Patrician Kaas", strongly offended on our "Lopukhi", wishes to return itself the money at any cost.

Alexander Bashirov, played a role of the vagabond to which it is simple from good soul our "Lopukhi" have thrown money. Having received money, it with hope has developed the rumpled cutting from the newspaper where Anna Semenovich if I am not mistaken has been represented, having told «At last you will be mine!».

Sergey Burunov, played the last who was sent on elimination of "Lopukhi" by the gangster, more known to us as "Patrician Kaas" has played very small role, having caught the doggie of the fat man of Eugene, having demanded for it the repayment — a case with the money, belonging Patricians Kaas.

Alexander Zhurin who has played Dena, the friend of our cheerful company consisting of three men, called them to Moscow, and then rescued them, both has unusually appeared in the film beginning, and has unusually appeared in the end, after clearing of our friends from the conclusion chamber, urging them to go to Amsterdam. A pier there it is possible to earn good money.

Last in the list, but not on the importance in a film Hope the Handle which has played, how much I have understood the agent of FSB, Masha. It has perfectly played the role in a film, in my opinion, as much as possible coolly and professionally having extorted from Eugene where there is a case and taking it. Still it is possible to recollect its girlfriend too working in FSB Irina Rogozin, played girl Alina who very much was pleasant to Sergey. Both these girls have brought the highlight in this film.

In general a film the interesting and ridiculous moments were pleasant, remembered many. I advise to all!
