Yeogo goedam (1998)
Great little movie with lots of mystery!
Very interesting movie to say the least. I was expecting a lot of death and thrills, but this is more of a soft toned mystery, mixed into a school where male teachers hit the high school young adults. There is very little blood, death, ghosts, and violence.
I enjoy Asian Horror, and this is a little bit older, and kind of outdated. Wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I still liked it. It was not a master piece like we are use to.
Basically you follow around students and teachers at a High School, after the opening sequence of death. It pretty much sets up the movie to uncover what happens in beginning, and most importantly "why". I honestly kind of got lost in the end, but it ended on a typical soft toned end.
Zeitgeist: Moving Forward (2011)
A definite must watch on Netflix for any Documentary Buff
I personally think what they teach in this movie, is stuff that should be taught to everyone. There should be a mandatory "Mythology" class that teaches you this stuff. Luckily I had such a class, and had a teach who spent a whole semester reading us all the tales in High School, from Pandora's Box to Prometheus to Jesus.
Of course you need to research everything to help give you a better understanding of the material, this kind of subject can land you in 2-4 years or research to fully understand everything, cause this covers a lot of info but doesn't get super deep.
But the essential fact is were all shrouded in lies from Jesus to Easter. I know many people who are just happy, sane and just go with the Christian Flow. As for everyone else, who wants to seek truth, this is a good stepping stone for your quest, if your into this kind of thing.
I say this is a Da Vinci Code type of Audience, or Holy Blood Holy Grail. Even though I think the information is great, there is still a lot to do once watching the film, if you really want to know the secret to history.
Remember for every story there is at least two sides, and everyone has an opinion. You'll find many Christian based theories to be opposite of what a rational scientific opinion would be, like what you learn on this movie.
