A Dirty Shame (2004)

This movie is nasty,funny,very weird

This is the first John Waters movie I have seen and I wasn't surprised when I watched all the things that happened in the movie because I have heard what nasty things can happen in his movies.I must day this is by far the most weirdest movie I have ever seen.It will be very hard to find another movie that tops this.This is a typical John Waters movie.I managed to find the uncut NC-17 rated version and I must say don't watch this movie unless its the NC-17 version.This movie was really nasty and really funny.It made me laugh non stop from start to finish.I got told don't watch this movie but I had to see what all the fuss was about it. Don't watch this movie if you get easily offended or faint hearted cos there is a lot of stuff that is in this movie that offends and disturbs people.This is not for children only for adults.My mom saw this movie on TV a few years ago and she said it was a movie that is really bad but it isn't a bad movie.John Waters definitely has a very twisted mind and he can put in a lot of crazy stuff into a 90 minute movie.I don't think there was a second of this movie where it wasn't crazy.

Piranha 3DD (2012)

Huge Let Down after 2 years of waiting!

I really loved Alexandre Aja's 2010 film and couldn't wait to see Piranha 3DD.I waited 2 years to see it.I heard this movie really sucked and i didn't listen to them so I watched this movie this morning and I must say i was so disappointed.The movie kept skipping a few seconds every 1 to 3 minutes and I couldn't believe for a budget of over $20 million that this was high budget and it looked like a low budget bad horror.I thought the movie would have way more gore and blood than the previous movie but i was totally wrong - the other movie had so much more.I couldn't wait for this movie to be over - it was only for 70 minutes before the credits.I loved the first one and didn't want it to finish but this time it was different.David Hasselhoff was really bad in this movie and I cannot believe the film makers were this desperate to play the Hoff as himself.I also wasn't happy Ving Rhames got almost no time in this movie.The only good thing about this movie was seeing Gary Bussey in it - he should have gotten more screen time. I wished i listened to peoples disappointment - biggest disappointment ever - luckily i paid $0 to see this movie by downloading it and watching it on my DVD player. 1/10 is my rating

My second favorite after the first one

I am a huge horror fan and I had heard a lot of bad things about SAW VII and I was worried about this one but I had been looking forward to this one the most since I watched the first SAW movie.I wasn't disappointed by this one.I saw it in 2D cos there was a lot of people saying the 3D was terrible.I don't think I missed out on anything seeing it in 2D because I didn't want to spend $18.50 on a movie with hardly any 3D effects and I may want to see it again before it comes out on DVD.Personally I think it is the most violent SAW movie out of all the seven.It has some really shocking twists at the end.You need to see the first 6 to see this one. The ending was so shocking - I didn't see this one coming.I won't tell you what happens at the end because if you want to be really shocked watch the ending of it.I really want to see it again.I think this one is for the fans only.

Tron: Legacy (2010)

Absolutely Epic!

I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since March of this year.It was #1 on my most anticipated movies of 2010.I have really liked the first Tron movie since I was a child.All I can say is that the visual effects and graphics are absolutely incredible.I didn't really care much for the plot- the plot wasn't great but the visual effects made up for it.I thought the visual effects were better than Avatar.I also thought the soundtrack was absolutely incredible - probably the best movie soundtrack this year.Daft Punk were the perfect band to compose the music for TRON Legacy. TRON: Legacy is one of the most incredible movies I have ever seen at the cinema.Don't expect this movie to have an amazing plot like Inception because the plot was simple and easy to understand. Is going to see this movie again for the second time today in 3D cos I enjoyed it so much.I feel like every cent i paid to see this movie was well worth it.

Martyrs (2008)

Makes the SAW franchise and Hostel look like kids movies

This movie is absolutely disturbing,shocking and emotional.It also has a lot of suspense and shock factor in it.I finished watching it at 4.30 am today and I couldn't get to sleep.I have seen almost every torture porn movie out there and this one is the few that truly shocked me.I was looking for something to shock me and this one achieved that.I wont forget about it anytime soon.It makes all the 7 SAW movies and 2 Hostel movies like a kids movie.You must see this movie if you like torture porn.I don't think I will be able to watch this movie again cos it is just so shocking.One of the most horrific movies ever made.A masterpiece.The ending is truly shocking - my mouth was wide open at the end 8/10 is my rating.

Megamind (2010)

Really funny!

I thought that Megamind wasn't going to be a good movie but I was wrong.It was a lot better than I thought.It had several actors in it that I really like.Megamind (played by Will Ferrell)is a really funny character who is the movies villain and despite everything he does he cannot get anywhere.My favorite characters are Metro Man and Megamind.It was a really funny movie and is well worth the money to see it in 3D.The 3D effects are great.It has a great soundtrack.I am going to see this in 2D next time I go to the movies.I want a second serving.Best animated movie of 2010.It had a great plot with a mix of comedy and action.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

Terrible Terrible

I was really looking forward to "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" as I really liked the first one and I was so excited for the day it came out.I went into the theater with high expectations and throughout the 2.5 hours watching this I was super disappointed! I believe this is the most successful worst movie ever made.I wondered when it was going to end! It was far too long! The only good actor in the movie was Josh Duhamel.It had far too many explosions and terrible terrible dialog.I noticed that almost every person in the feature was a guy and I guess that was cos of Megan Fox.It has everything to offer about American culture.I want back my 2.5 hours watching this and $10 i spent watching this movie.My brother thought this was great and his friends did too but I disagree with them.I agree with the 80% of critics that hated this movie.

The Hangover (2009)

so funny! the comedy of 2009!

"The Hangover" is by far the funniest movie of 2009.A person took me to the movies for my birthday last year and she suggested Hannah Montana - I was like no way see "The Hangover".I I had to see this movie when i saw the trailer.The whole audience cried so hard with laughter when i went to see it at the cinema All the main characters were excellent in this movie and my favorite character is Alan Garner played by Zach.I think I laughed the hardest with all the scenes he was in it.II laugh so hard I cry every time I watch this movie and I have seen it many times.It is very funny from the beginning to the end.It is definitely crude.It has a lot of random one liners.No matter how many times I will watch this movie it is never going to get old.One of the most funniest movies I have ever seen.A must see comedy.Is looking forward to "The Hangover 2" which I wonder will it top the "The Hangover 1"? No wonder why this is the best selling comedy DVD of all time.Definitely one of my most favorite comedy movies.

Saw IV (2007)

The worst SAW movie ever made

I have seen all 6 SAW movies in chronological order (of course) and this one is by far the worst one! I liked all of the other 5 movies in the series.I rented out this movie for $1.I just kept yawning throughout the movie and couldn't wait for it to finish! I was very disappointed though I am a fan of the SAW movies.It just kept dragging on and off for a long time even though it was only for a hour and a half.I kept asking myself why Jigsaw was still in the movie even though he was dead.At the end I was pretty relieved because I thought the movie was over long last! I am still a fan of SAW and do want to go and see SAW VII.If you are a huge fan of the series then see it and if not don't.SAW V is better than this.

Jackass 3D (2010)

Funniest Movie I have ever seen - I cried with laughter!

I have been a fan of Jackass for several years and have seen the first two movies and the TV series.This one was by far the best and most funniest one of them all.I was definitely not disappointed with Jackass 3D.I felt like the $18.50 I spent to see JACKASS 3D was well spent.I laughed at all the scenes - there isn't a single boring scene in this movie and it has no plot just the Jackass crew doing funny stunts and pranks.I went to see this movie at 10.40am on the first day it showed in my country and there were so many people there.It was so good to hear the whole theater laughing and I don't think there was a second of the movie where i didn't hear laughing from the other people in the theater.Everyone just cried with laughter.The 3D is well used in this movie (I went to the Real D version).This is without a doubt the funniest movie of 2010.If you are a fan of Jackass then you must see it - you wont be disappointed.It is much grosser than the first two movies.There is so many stunts and pranks in this movie.I just couldn't pick my favorite scene.I want to see it again! 10/10 is my rating

Freddy Got Fingered (2001)

Really Funny movie!

My brother and his friend Jake suggested this movie and i saw it in the local video store top 50 and i decided to rent it out.My mom said the movie was really weird which is good cos i really like weird movies.I also was a fan of the Tom Green show way before watching this.I didn't get it at first like in the first 20 minutes and then I started to get it and started to laugh and laugh throughout this movie.It had a lot of really funny scenes and I had a very hard time picking my favorite scene.I enjoyed this movie so much I watched it like 10 times.Anyone who hates this movie must be too serious and doesn't have a sense of humor as it was too funny.Please don't think the films title "Freddy got fingered" must be a terrible movie cos it was a really good movie.I am definitely buying this movie 9/10.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Absolutely Brilliant!

Wihthout a doubt this is one of my all time favorite movies and is probably the best Stephen King film.I had never heard of it until i saw the IMDb top 250.Better than The Godfather.I'm super glad this is #1 on the top 250.It has an amazing plot and is a movie that sends a lot of messages one being that institutionalization has a huge effect on people that are in prison for many years and they get used to it.When they leave they want to go back to the prison as it is their home. It is a shame it didn't win any awards at the Academy Awards.If I were on the panel deciding what movie should win Best Picture Oscar I would have picked The Shawshank Redemption which would have been a hard task as 2 other masterpieces Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction were also in the nominees.1994 must have been a really outstanding year in film.I wish I could give it 11 stars.This is a movie you have to see.It truly is a film that is for watching dozens of times and is a beauty all the time

I love Will Ferrell and I love all of his movies.This one was soooooo funny! I have seen this movie once on DVD and once on the TV.It never fails to make me laugh.In some scenes I rewind to the most funniest bits to have a really good laugh.I laughed from the beginning to the end.Reilly and Ferrell are 40 year olds that act like 9 year olds and still live with their parents.They are the most childish 40 year olds.I think this is probably the best comedy of 2008 and the funniest movie Will Ferrell has done.Go and watch this movie if you are a Will Ferrell fan and haven't seen this yet.It has great replay value - almost all the movies I have seen don't have that replay value unless they are really good.I am considering buying this movie.It is so good it is rated R because if it was PG13 it wouldn't have been as funny.

Be Kind Rewind (2008)

Be Kind Rewind was on TV 2 months ago and I decided to watch it because it had one of my favorite actors in it - Jack Black.I don't know how it got many negative reviews on this website but at least I loved it.It got a lot of positive reviews everywhere.I would see this movie again and I am considering getting it on this week.This movie is about these guys that operate a video rental store and it is about to be demolished due to the fact they cant find money and they make a movie full of many movie remakes but some legal people come and crush all the tapes in the store.At the end they show a really funny movie.I really liked the plot and the remake of the movies. Don't expect this movie to be as funny as Jack Black's "School Of Rock" because the movie wasn't aimed to reach that humor.Instead expect light hearted humor.It is definitely worth watching.A very well crafted movie.

10/10 is my rating.

Sorority Boys (2002)

Really funny!

I have seen this movie 3 times and it never gets old.I always catch this movie on the TV and I laugh and laugh at all the jokes.It is a really good gross out comedy (one of the best gross out college comedies actually) and this movie is worth renting out if you haven't seen already.I don't think I have seen any of the actors in any other movies before seeing Sorority Boys.I thought the ending was really weird.Don't believe the negative reviews until you have seen this movie then you will have a different opinion.It had a good plot also and I really liked the soundtrack for this movie.

Too Terrible for words

I really regret going to the movies to see this and playing 12.50 for the tickets so I can see it.All I can say is that I want my money back and the 75 minutes i spent watching this movie which i will never ever get.This movie is absolutely rote and the acting is awful.The parodies they did in this movie were so bad.In the first 10 minutes of the movie I saw 3 people get up and leave.They didn't return.The same happened at 20 and 30 minutes.These were all kids.There wasn't a single laugh in the theater.Hardly anyone stayed at the end.Don't rent this movie at all - it isn't worth the $1 rental price.I really regret ignoring peoples advice that saw the movie "Dont see this movie! it is awful" Aaron Seltzer who directed the movie really doesn't know how to make movies.I really wanted to give this 0 stars but instead the lowest possible rating is 1 star.Officialy in my top 10 worst movies I ever seen in my life.I don't think Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg should be able to make movies again after Epic Movie,Date movie,Meet the Spartans,Vampires Suck.

Disaster Movie (2008)

Why on earth are Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg still making movies? All of them are in my top 10 worst movies i have ever seen and Disaster movie is one of them.The movies should without a doubt be banned.I think there should be a petition to stop them making movies.The first signature will be from me.They have absolutely no originality and talent.I rented this out from United Video the other day and I usually watch movies from the start to end but i turned the DVD off after 20 minutes.I have rented out so many dvds from United Video and this falls into the less than 1% that i didn't finish watching.I had enough of it! I seriously wanted to give this a 0 of 10 stars but i cant.2nd worst movie of 2008 after "Meet the Spartans" of course.

Piranha 3D (2010)

This movie is very awesome

I really loved Piranha 3D.This was the first 3D movie i saw at the theaters and I thought it was so entertaining.I really like all of Alexandre Aja's movies and when i heard he was making this movie I knew I had to go and see it.This was one of the main reasons I went to see Piranha 3D.Alexandre Aja makes very good remakes.A lot of people told me that the trailer looks really bad and I think that it was meant to look bad but the movie was very good.The movie is way better than you expect.The movie was really good from the beginning to the end but it is at its best in the last 20 minutes.It had good acting,amazing 3D effects,a lot of nudity,so much blood and gore.This is not a movie for anyone that has a weak stomach,gets easily disturbed or children.

This movie isn't funny at all.I think this movie was made for little kids.I cant believe it scored a PG-13 rating it should have been a r rating in my opinion.It was disgusting - I really really wanted to give it a 0 star rating but it isn't possible so a 1 star rating is very generous in my opinion.Comedy is still one of my favorite genres and I will still continue to watch comedy movies.I cant believe i wasted 90 or so minutes watching this movie it was torture! From now on if i want to watch a movie I will read reviews and if it gets enough good reviews then i will watch it.

If you think the commercials were funny (i did) then you will see where Im coming from and agree it is not funny once you watch this movie.Don't watch this movie if nothing else is on.

Mad TV (1995–2016)

Too Funny!

I was flicking through the channels late one night and I saw this really funny sketch on the TV that had me in stitches.From that sketch I became addicted to MADtv and didn't miss a single episode.My favorite sketches are E-Harmony,Stuart,Nicole Parker,Barack Obama and all the other presidents of the USA they have had, Coach Hines and many others.I have seen nearly every episode ever made on MADtv.

I watch youtube clips on the show and they never fail to make laugh non stop.I also catch the repeats they air on TV now the show is over and I feel sad the show has ended because it was sooooooooooo funny and was one of my favorite shows.

Choke (2008)

Terrific Film

First this movie is not for the faint of heart.I decided to hire this movie because I like the movies that are based on books written by Chuck Palahniuk.Another reason I saw this movie was because I like Sam Rockwell and his movies.I was really impressed with this movie - It was disturbing,funny and also dark.I thought it could have been better if it was over 2 hours long but it was still quite good.This is definitely not a movie to go to for first dates,family viewing or for elderly people.If you are interested in the theme of sex addiction and what goes on behind the scenes of treating it then i would recommend this movie to you.

Glee (2009–2015)

Awesome!

I watched one episode of Glee and I got hooked! I love this show! It is very enjoyable and at times very funny.I did put it off at first when I saw the episode but someone told me that it is quite good and there was a lot of hype surrounding the show, I decided to watch it.I love the music and have all the soundtracks on CD.I think this is a show that all people of all ages can relate to not just teenagers which is its target audience.It has drama and comedy in it.One thing that I find despite it being a happy show is the fact that the glee club has many members that don't feel good about themselves.I miss it already on the TV.

Basic Instinct 2 (2006)

Not that bad!

I cant understand why people hate this movie! I thought this movie was okay but it wasn't great.The first BI movie was better.I watched this movie at the beginning this year and i thought it was a pleasant surprise.I had heard a lot of bad things about this movie and I didn't understand why people were being so negative about this movie.The storyline was good.I also thought this movie was quite suspenseful and dark which I liked.

I thought Sharon Stone was beautiful and she is one of those people that gets better with age.I don't think this movie deserves so many 1 star ratings - it deserves a chance! I really liked the ending.You need to give movies a chance - perhaps if you watch it for the second time you may have a very different opinion on this movie i would give this movie a 5 out of 10 for my rating

Epic Fail

I have no idea why I went to see this movie when the makers of this movie Friedberg and Seltzer keep making awful movies.I think the reason is because i wanted to give them a chance but this movie was an epic fail.One thing I realized is that Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie are both in the IMDb bottom 100 and I wont be surprised if this one makes the cut to the bottom 100.The only scene I liked was the BEP part and thats all.I feel like I got ripped off.It was so lame! Vampires Suck achieved its goal when you read the title - it sucked! I am a Twilight fan(but not a huge fan) and I don't think they even watched the Twilight movies.This movie is a good way to cash in the money from the Twilight haters.I reckon that Friedberg and Seltzer make much worser movies each time.I really wanted to give this 0 stars out of 10 but that isn't possible.So I think i am being generous with the 1 star rating.Don't see this movie you will truly regret it.By far the worst movie of 2010.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008)

Worst Sandler movie yet

I am a fan of Adam Sandler and have seen all of his movies and had wanted to see this movie for some time but almost everyone gave it a bad review and I didn't believe them until i saw this on TV one night a few weeks ago. I really disliked this movie it had rote jokes,was so crude,a very bad plot that i didn't get at all.Really crude movies can be really funny but this isn't one of them.I don't know how on earth this got a 5.7 out of 10.Im very surprised this movie is not in the IMDb bottom 100.I regret watching this movie and will never get those almost 2 hours watching this movie back.I don't think this movie is good for anyone except for those under 10 years old.I am still a fan of Adam Sandler though and gave the next movies he starred in a chance and they are a better improvement than this.
