Shake It Up (2010–2013)
5/10
One of Disney's worst shows
9 September 2011
Wow where can I start? Let's break down the characters:

Cece: The typical 'slow' character that is usually the last to get jokes and whatever, yep, 'cause we haven't seen that stereotypical character before. *Yawns*

Rocky: Annoying, over the top character, that makes facial expressions like she is straining on the toilet. Irritating.

Deuce: Firstly what the heck kind of name is that? Cute guy but not really that relevant.

Ty: Best dancer on the show, cute too. Him and Deuce(what?!) are the only reason I gave this a 3.

Gunther and Tinka: Bleugh.

The plot is awful and not anything we haven't really seen before, the clothes that the 2 main characters wear are too over the top and not a realistic view on what 12/13 year old's would wear. The acting is TERRIBLE and the dancing done (with the exception of Roshon Fegan) is HIDEOUS. If those girls have had ANY sort of dance lessons or experience before this show my name is Oprah Winfrey.

All in all, Disney, fix the heck up, get rid of this show and produce a show that isn't painful to watch. That is all.

Buried (2010)
10/10
Wow....
20 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
So, Buried is the story of US truck driver called Paul Conroy, who awakes in a wooden coffin. With no idea how he got there or why he is there, Paul finds a Blackberry and a Zippo and throughout the story he starts to piece together what has actually happened to him.

Now, I'll start with the acting. In the past I haven't really rated Ryan Reynolds as an actor, I mean he was good in movies like Van Wilder and the usual when he is playing a cocky, confident lead. But In Buried, to see him, what I would call 'out of his element' He did a splendid job and was amazingly convincing. I thought that the way he portrayed the character of Paul Conroy was amazing, and at some points I felt like I was trapped in the coffin with him! When he was on the phone to his wife just as the coffin was getting buried really made my heart yearn for him!

I loved the plot! I've seen a lot of people on here complain about it but I love the whole hostage situation, it reminded me of one of my favourite CSI episodes. Although there were some plot holes and mistakes, well what movies don't have them these days?! If your the type of person who doesn't really like movies with very little cast and movement then this obviously isn't for you, but please even if its not, give it a go!

Now, for the extremely controversial ending. In fact, I loved this ending. I loved the fact that it wasn't one of those convenient happy Hollywood endings. *SPOILERS* I seriously thought that they would get Paul out of the coffin, Dan Brenner's sympathetic voice put me at some ease and made me assume that Paul would be found. Boy was I wrong! The end scene where Paul makes a phone call to his wife and believes that he is being dug up is heart wrenching, as the sand starts to build more and more, my tears started to pour and pour! It was very emotional and I thought very well written!

But overall, this is one of the best movies I have watched in a long time, and I wish that it had a wider release then what it did have. An exceptional film, and one that I will definitely be watching again!

Step Up 3D (2010)
1/10
Hideous isn't the word...
14 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Well after watching this movie I know why it was called step up 3D. Because if they didn't make it 3D, this pile of absolute rubbish wouldn't have made ANY money at all. I can't even find the words to describe how terrible this was and I'm still disgusted that I spent money to watch this movie.

The storyline is scattered, predictable and at times, boring. It's nothing we've never heard/seen before, same Ole sob story blah blah. The dialogue and acting is laughable, not in the good way... I mean, the way the two main characters 'fall for each other' is just a joke, apparently the best way to get a girls attention is to follow her around the club with a camera. There's a whole load of gaps in the storyline which I am not going to bother wasting my time commenting on.

Now, the dancing. Hmph, nothing above average. I'm not saying I could do any better, but there was nothing in the movie that was mind blowing. I must admit Moose, the twins and the robot dude were pretty sick, but other than that I can't remember any of the other dances. When I watch a dance movie I expect to be excited when they're dancing, I expect to be blown away by the quality and nothing in this movie did that for me which was a massive let down. I was expecting them to top the scene in step up two when they were dancing in the rain but they didn't. The final dance which was the most hyped up and anticipated was a COMPLETE disappointment.

But all in all, I would NOT suggest this movie to ANYONE, it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and actually just left me bitter in general. But if you do chose to watch the movie you will be left with one question in your head: Is that it?

The Jeremy Kyle Show (2005–2020)
1/10
An embarrassment to ITV and society!
26 July 2010
I only gave this show a 1/10 because that was the lowest rating I could choose. Being childish about it, a minus number would have fit the bill perfectly.

So, The Jeremy Kyle Show...Where do I begin? Maybe with the fact that the guests who appear on this show are usually bed-hopping, lying, fools who are stupid enough to come on national television and exploit their personal lives and promiscuous doings. I don't want to stereotype or group any certain group of people, but when any person mentions The Jeremy Kyle Show the first thing that comes to mind is a bunch of people who live off the money of tax payers.

A lot of people who moan about this show complain about the fact that it's not fair how Jeremy treats these people considering their situation and so on...I will get to that later. But it's their fault for calling up such an awful show to ask for help. If someone told me I was going on the show, I would have a VERY pessimistic attitude.

Now, Jeremy Kyle. Well, well, well, where CAN I start with this man? I am a fifteen year old girl and I have a guilty pleasure for chat shows, such as Maury, Steve Wilkos, Trisha ETC... But Jeremy Kyle must be one of the worst chat show hosts I have seen in my short life time. This man is very contradicting and extremely patronizing. He accuses many of the guests on his show for being liars and cheaters...Correct me if I'm wrong but if I can recall it, he had cheated on his ex-wife many times, he stole from her bank account to feed his gambling addiction. I know no one is perfect but who is he to talk to people and judge people the way he does? Overall, The show is just awful and I am damn happy to hear that further shows will not be made/aired.

Fanboy & Chum Chum (2009–2014)
1/10
One word- Painful.
24 July 2010
Okay, I will start off saying that I am a fifteen year old girl who generally enjoys cartoons that are aimed at younger audiences. For example Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly odd parents and so on... I am usually very open minded about kids shows as they have a certain extent of 'immature' humour. But this show just take immature to a whole new level. First off, the animation is crap, it's bright and I just think generally painful to look at. The theme song...well 'nuff said. The characters are stupid and annoying. The humour is mainly 'pee pee' and toilet jokes which I believe is VERY unoriginal and just overall pants. I wouldn't suggest anyone over the age of four to watch this- it's just terrible. It's one of those kind of shows where you can feel your IQ dropping as you watch it. Definitely a no-go.

Terrible movie.
30 April 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I am actually really surprised that the IMDb rating for this is so high. I thought this movie was a waste of time and pretty much awful.

I was highly disappointed with this movie actually, being a fan of the first movie I was expecting a good sequel. Boy was I wrong. I must admit the camera work was good and the characters were likable.

I just thought the movie was very drab and boring though. The storyline was very predictable as well. Basically it's just the first movie with a different set of characters. It's seemed to be very short as well, but I don't know if that was because of the fact that I was texting through most of it. I am a 15 year old girl who watched this with her 10 year old brother, who also thought this movie was a bore.

The Cleveland Show (2009–2013)

Give it a chance people.
15 March 2010
Well the only reason that people are hating on this show so much is the fact that they continue to compare it to the likes of Family guy and possibly American dad.

This show isn't bad, it is entertaining and the humour is smart. As a fan of Seth Mcfarlane I knew I would enjoy the show anyway.

Yes the family structure is the same as Family guy and American dad, and may lack some ambition, but needless to say, I don't laugh at much shows these days, buy this manages to squeeze quite a few giggles out of me.

No, it's not better than family guy, but if people watched it with an open mind and stopped comparing it, I reckon it would be enjoyed a lot more than what it is.

It wasn't THAT bad...
9 May 2009
It was OK i guess, i wasn't really expecting much. I'm a 15 year old girl so i thought i would give the show a try and see how it was. The majority of my friends hated it.

The series has finished now and its quite forgettable as i'm struggling to pick out a funny scene.

I was kind of disappointed with the show actually, i liked them both in Gavin and Stacey but this wasn't as funny as i wanted it to be. The same with the movie. Which i was reluctant to see.

If you like repetitive, ongoing jokes you will enjoy this show, but overall it's just OK.

The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019)
10/10
Now THIS is what comedy is all about !!!!!!
4 December 2008
The big bang theory is absolutely hilarious!!! The comedic timing is perfect and always spot on and the chemistry between the characters is mesmerising. I have been waiting so long for the new series to come out, it finally has now and i can't get enough of it!

If you haven't watched this show, i would definitely recommend it!!! There is a lack of good comedy shows these days but this is so refreshing to watch! I think that Jim Parsons does an outstanding job as Sheldon, although i like all the characters his sarcasm and scientific lectures make me laugh every time. Thank you E4 for airing this show it is absolutely AMAZING !!!!

10/10 !!!

Awful
16 November 2008
This show is awful.

I don't know what it is about this show that just always makes me cringe. The acting in it isn't great and the punch lines or jokes aren't funny. I usually love Disney with shows like Zack and Cody, Phineas and Ferb etc... But i cannot watch this. I think that the storyline is really weak. I mean, if i put a blonde wig on now my friends wouldn't know who i am? I seriously felt my IQ dropping as i watched this show it felt like it was thought up by a few bored teenagers. I'm not really a fan of Miley Cyrus but i thought that this show would be better then it is. I've really tried to like it but i cant. I think the only people who would like this show are people under the age of 10. I personally think that the show is terrible, the only reason i gave it a 1 was because i couldn't give it a zero, but overall

0/10 Period.

HSM3 The most predictable film in history
6 November 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Well what can i say ...

High school musical 3 is not a terrible film. But its not that good either. I must admit i did enjoy some of the dance numbers like Can i have this dance and The boys are back. But the storyline was very much like the first 2 movies.

1)Yet again sharpay wants to steal troy and gabriella's song which i recall happening in the first two.

2)Gabriella leaves yet again which happened in the second one.

3)She comes back at the end and her and Troy 'steal' the show.

It was quite cheesy but ya know it is a Disney movie :p The scriptwriters ovioulsy ran out of ideas, if there is gunnah be a HSM 4 well ... oh noo

Ovarall its pretty average. Xx
