Warrior (2019)
Amazing show!
This show has something for everyone, and by that I mostly mean everyone needs to see more badass women like Ah Toy and Mai Ling in the media. Apart from them, every character is so well thought out and the actors bring their all to the table. I really enjoy watching Lee's and Bill's story arcs, and enough can't be said about Ah Sahm's struggles between his loyalty to the Hop Wei and his loyalty to his sister. I'm so invested in everyone's story! Even Buckley's! The fight choreography is ahhhmazing and this show has me smiling and tensed up every episode. Just really spectacular. We need more!!!! Plus, Joe Taslim is a major hottie and I need to see him reign.
The Big Door Prize (2023)
Not really fun
The first episode was a painful slog for me to get through. Everyone (except for O'Dowd and the man playing the priest) is annoyingly overacting.
Having watched three episodes now, I've decided to quit.
When the dialogue isn't absolutely unrealistic, the story is overly melodramatic. Moreover, the progression of the plot jumps around to nonsensical conclusions. It feels as though a lot was left on the cutting room floor.
I like dark comedy and I had a couple of laughs with this but, unfortunately, none of the characters are very likeable and the story itself is pretty shallow and pointless. I won't be continuing with it.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Ugh, Rewatching for third time and all these people are terrible
I didn't think it was possible to hate Skyler even more. And Walt, what a terrible person from beginning to end. Only good people here are Hank and Jesse. Poor guys. Have been noticing too, I think Hank started to suspect Walt earlier on, but refused to believe it. You can see in how he looks at Walt when Walt talks about the chemistry or the case. Only when he saw Gale's inscription did he know for certain, and had to start believing his suspicions were real. Great show.
The Hunt (2020)
Triggers bad reviews, but think for yourself
This is great. Funny, if you can handle it. Edgy, but not in the way you think you are. As such, a lot of people will feel uncomfortable. Good! This leaves you wondering what "side" you're on. Well executed and fun.
