Hemlock Grove (2013–2015)
1/10
Cliché, tedious and boring.
17 July 2013
In an age, where there is sheer competition amongst TV shows, I wonder what were Net Flix thinking? :| They gave us "House of Cards." and then they also gave us "Hemlock Groove." I now would only stick to TV series that are 8 and above in rating, something below that is always a disappointment.

This show has untoward suspense, the storyline isn't all captivating and one who has an appetite for good shows will be bored in three episodes. I almost fast forward all the episodes because watching in regular speed was just so goddamn hurtful.

and then I see reviews that are praising this show.. I wonder if they have actually seen good TV shows to even glorify this show :/

Melodrama Melodrama Melodrama! A Big Letdown!
29 February 2012
I was very much enthused to watch this movie, as I really enjoyed the remake of Don. Since this was a high profile cast and production, I had good hopes from it and not only that very good reviewed turned in from the ones who saw it.

I'm not a fan of watching movies in the cinema, one cannot concentrate fully because there is always some douche trying to be funny in the hall that ruins the movie, I prefer watching the movie alone, give it all my attention, especially the movies which are anticipated by the masses.

However, I see people have praised this movie a lot, but I still fail to understand why? The only good thing in the movie is KANCHA and RAUF LALA and CHIKNI CHAMELI! Other than that, seriously, it's a total letdown! A remake has to be a more modern, i.e. like Don. More like today's standards! Useless drama is so overrated. Seriously, if I still see an 90's or 80's movie of AB and it has all the drama, I'll still enjoy it! But I didn't enjoy this one, it seems the movie is dragged from the start till the end, melodrama, melodrama and melodrama! In the end, it's always fun when Big B gets beaten on and still stand up and kills the villain! But Haritik, u ain't Big B and this ain't 80-90s era! The director and the producer could have made him a mastermind rather than a Superhero, like being stabbed by a large knife twice and still ending up hanging Kancha from the tree! They might as well put the ending drama of Vijay's mom demanding him to kill Kancha whilst he's unconscious, at least that'll have some motherly superpower feel to it. loll! I'm severely disappointed and this was a very stupid and waste of the time movie.

Yet Another Disappointment
6 July 2009
Akshay has lost it seriously, and i wonder why Bebo signed up for this movie.. I guess both Akshay and Bebo signed it cuz they were thrilled that it will be a big box office hit cuz of the Hollywood actors' guest appearances, but I guess their guest appearances didn't save the movie as well.

This as yet again a clichéd comedy just like Chandni Chowk To China... though the second half of the movie got a little bit interesting, and i mean a little!! The storyline was a hundred year old, the jokes were pretty used up, the songs, well not that good enough too, acting was good, as we cannot forget the fact that both Akshay and Bebo are pretty solid performers.

So in the end, it is a 4/10 movie, and just a timepass, no thrills whatsoever, pretty much predictable at every stage.

And ignore the comments of any users who says they loved it cuz if you are a serious movie watcher, you'd prolly not like it a lil bit!

The Grudge 3 (2009)

not even close to the first two!!
12 March 2009
I had my doubts with this one, as the director of this one and the first two parts is different. This one lacks at many occasions, firstly it does not have any horror in it.. i mean if you have seen the first two parts, they make u jump up from your chair, you need to take frequent breaks in order to get a relief and it might haunt u in the night if you are not into horror movies and if you believe in supernatural thingie.

However, this one, the writer tried sequencing it, but the director couldn't really make this one as perfect as the last two were.. It contained more story than horror, not many horror appearance, not many real killing scenes, director tried ending most of the scenes in suspense, as we'd guess what would have happened or perhaps like a trailer or a teaser that you'd have to wait to see what would have happened...

I felt it as a waste of my time frankly, and I think it will be a waste of time for all the people who have been great fan of the first two parts.

Don't go for the rating, it's misleading.
27 January 2009
I never liked Kocked-Up of Seth Rogan, even though it was okay as a comedy movie, but not close to American Pie, SuperBad etc.

So, I wasn't in for PineApple Expression, but then I saw the rating to be 7+ for a comedy and that too a pot related comedy, I thought this must be a real nice flick with pretty hilarious jokes, but frankly I was boring, the pot jokes were more or less clichéd.

The rating is seriously misleading. Save your time guys. I'd prefer you go see Walk Hard-The Dewey Cox Story if you want to laugh your ass off.

So its just stupid jokes, getting hit by bullets and yet the person comes in the end to save them without going to the hospital.

Akshay's lamest movie ever.
27 January 2009
Warning: Excess of lame jokes

I was pretty much filled excitement when the movie began, as I like Akshay's performance a lot, his facial expressions and marshal-art skills are pretty good and I usually enjoy his work. Like Tashan wasn't considered a success, but I really enjoyed it especially Akshay's performance. But in CC2C, duh! the jokes started to suck from the very start. The jokes, I agree with one of the review, are clichéd.

Even though, I had nothing to do when I was watching the movie, but still I ended up fast-forwarding it because I couldn't take it anymore.

Then I a bit excited when Akshay decided to learn kung-fu and go for revenge, but the climax was also ruined by bad and vulgar jokes.. and lastly the ending fight, the director thought it would be fun to make it a non-serious fight, thus evening ruining the fighting part of the movie.

I think Warner Bros would now think twice after they agree to be a part of the production unit of Chandni Chowk to Africa.. lol
