I enjoyed very much this excursion through Burgundy: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.
There are some interesting aspects of Burgundy: the "Château-fort" of Guédelon ( the building of the castle using traditional techniques, the stonecutters Clément and Nicolas, the mason Mathieu), the restoration of the "Château" de Valley (the stonecutter Nicolas), the Canal de la Bourgogne ( the lock keeper Pierre Etienne Guillemin, the fishing of zanders and pikes, the help to the boaters for the crossing of the locks, the pleasure of the boaters to navigate in this canal), the restaurant and cabaret "La Ruche Gourmande" (Luc, Catherine et Eugénie Soulard, the cabaret spectacle), the snails of Burgundy ( the snails breeder Frédéric Marcouyoux, the cartoonist Michel Burdin and his comic books, Gaston the metallic snail created by Hervé Begin), the town of Autun and Tolix chair ( the famous metallic chair created by the designer Xavier Pauchard in 1930) and the forests of the Morvan ( Cyrille Couvenant and his portable sawmill, the work at the farm , the good qualities of the Douglas fir wood, the tree climber Olivier Nugues and the beech tree, the photographer Jean-Luc Luyssen and the pictures of the forest-a moment of harmony with the nature-).
I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme Pitorin with Amélie de MacMahon at the castle of Sully and the little cellar of the estate, with the aerobatics pilot Sylvain Parmentier a Chalon-sur-Saôe, with the cattle breeder Jean-François Jacob at Saint-Léger-lès-Paray and Saint-Chrisophe en Bionnais, with food truck manager Jean Rustou, with Marc of the Moutarderie Edmond Fallot, with the ceramist Bérénice in Beaune, with the architect Claude Correia at Alligny-en-Morvan, with the "sabotier" Pierre Marchand at Gouloux, with Gaelle Lajugee and the musicians "Les trois moustiquaires" at the Domaine de la Maison Ronde; nice encounters with very kind Burgundy men and women.
