Rough Night in Jericho (1967)
George Peppard
George Peppard is very wonderful in this movie. His acting is very well done. His character in this movie reminds me of the character he will later play on the A-Team. (Plot Spoilers) His character rides into town and saves the day. He even sets up a trap to catch the bad guys like he did at the end of every episode of the A-Team. (Plot Spoilers)Dean Martin plays a very good villain in this movie. Dean Martin plays a bad guy that is almost nice until you get on his bad side. Sim Pickens who played bad guys before in movies like Blazing Saddles, One Eyed Jacks, and a few others. Top all other bad guys he played before in this movie. John McIntire was a lovable, kindhearted and tough lawman.Jean Simmons plays a head strong woman that has a independent spirit. This has got to be one of my favorite George Peppard movies.
More Dead Than Alive (1969)
Confusing Bipolar movie.
This movie is been given a R rating. This movie starts out PG 13. Then it becomes PG up until the last 20 minutes of the movie then it becomes R rated for the violence. Then it becomes PG again for about 3 or 4 minutes then it goes to a R rated ending. The ending was horrible and could of been better. Lousy music score at the end. I don't get happy music to a tragic ending? I think a more dramatic song like Johnny Mathis song Walking tall would of been a better song. If this movie were made now it would of been released direct to video or a made for t.v movie. I have to say Clint Walkers performance, Vincent Prices and Mike Henry's performance was wonderfully done. I do not know where this movie was going. One minute it was going in the direction of a TV western, another minute it was going for a theatrically released action western. It is almost like watching a combination of Support Your Local Sheriff, Bonanza, The wild Bunch and The Cowboys. The acting however was really superb.
Doc West: La sfida (2009)
Great Western Movie
I watched both Doc West movies and I hope to see a 3rd Doc West movie. I Like Terence Hill and I like Paul Sorvino. I really like watching both movies and they are terrific. It is refreshing to see a wholesome western with some good content in it. it kind of reminds me of the days that the A-Team was on T.V. Nobody gets killed except for maybe one person. Not a whole lot of violence in this movie which means it is a good old family movie. This is a kind of movie that makes me think of Night of the Grizzly, The Bonanza TV series, and a few live action western movies Disney made from the 1960's thru the 1970's. This movie is filled with human emotion, romance and some life lessons that kids will learn. Paul Sorvino gives a wonderful performance as the sheriff in both movies. It is nice to see him playing a character that is good. I am hoping to see where Doc West will take us next. I can't wait to see a third Doc West movie!
Clue Club (1976)
The 2 dogs on the show look familiar !
Could it be that Hanna Barbara Got the idea for these 2 dogs from the Walt Disney Cartoon movie the Aristocats ? Because I am watching the show for the first time in my life right now on boomerang . I have seen most of Hanna Barbaras shows on t.v most of them I seen as a kid in the 80's after school. Like Scooby Doo,Flintstones, Speed Buggy, Etc. It could very well be possible that Hanna Barbara got into a kind of creative mood and decided to combine the 2 dogs from aristocats and put them into a Scooby Doo setting. Just watch the 2 dogs from this cartoon and then watch the 2 dogs from Aristocats and let me know if you too can see the resemblance.Personally if I was Disney I would of been a bit upset.
The House of Tomorrow (1949)
Once again IMDb is incorrect!
The model the female model in this cartoon is not Irene Dunn! Irene for one thing was a Burnette the girl in the cartoon is a blonde! Also the girl in the Bikini is very young. Irene was born in 1898 she would of been over 50 years old when this cartoon was made!IMDb is becoming more and more inaccurate. I don't know who the Bikini girl is yet.Its safe to say it is not Irene Dunn. The bikini girl does look like Virginia Mayo.It is possible that it could very well be her seeing she was working at MGM at the same time .It was either a very young stock footage of Virginia Mayo or it was stock footage of another girl during the same time era.
The Flintstones: Dino and Juliet (1964)
Henry Corden Vs Alan Reed
In this episode its a real treat that both original and the new Fred Flintstones voice can be heard together. Henry Corden plays Mr. Loudrock a new neighbor of the Flintstones who really sounds like Fred Flinstone . He is doing the Fred Flintstone voice before he took over after Alan Reeds death in 77. You can really tell that Cordens Fred Flintstones voice is way different than Alan Reeds voice by comparison. Cordens version is more ruff than Alan reeds version. This episodes is a real treat to be able to hear both versions of Fred Flintstones together. After watching this episode I can say I prefer Alan Reeds version of the voice over Henrys Cordens version of the Fred Flintstones voice.
Drake & Josh: The Wedding (2006)
Kevin Farley on this episode
Kevin Farley was in this episode of Josh and Drake but IMDb did not mention that in the list of cast. the didn't even mention it for the series either. Just want everybody to know that yes that is Chris Farley's brother who makes a cameo appearance as the police officer. Why IMDb does not have him in the list of of cast for the show is beyond me.Also Bob Rooney makes a cameo as Leslie. Good episode I enjoyed it. I think Kevin Farley could of had a longer ,better part lets hope that he will come back and do more with the show. I think that the 2 police officers on the show could become regulars . I give this episode 4 stars .If they make them more like this I will watch it more.
