Kid 90 (2021)
So Entertaining & Informative
I give it 10 stars for honesty, even though she didn't seem to care about the celebrity deaths. It's her truth, she was too self absorbed to appreciate or care deeply about the people who were reaching out to her for support. I feel that she could have done more to state more personal words of regret with specific celeb names mentioned. For example Jonathan Brandis called her multiple times and she missed what was going on with him which is her honest mistake. But present day she still missed an opening to speak directly about her emotions about it. She was very vague so maybe I'll give her a pass that it was too painful to go into, but it still does come across like she barely cares. I give it a 10 because she was very open about how wild and crazy her life was. She got out of LA at the right time and made a change but even in NY it was still an adventure. She didn't have to share this but she did. All of this was locked up but she made good use of it when she didn't have to. She could have twisted the truth or removed anything that could make her look bad, but she didn't. I do commend her for that and for what these experiences could do to help shape the decisions other young celebs could make regarding not letting drugs, alcohol and depression taking them to the edge.
Don't Let Go (2019)
Such A Creative Movie! I Absolutely Loved It!!! Should Have Higher Ratings
This movie was soooo good!!!! Aside from Marvel and DC films, this is one of the best non-superhero movies I have seen in a long time. Very creative and no boring scenes, it just gets right into it from the beginning. That little girl Storm Reid from A Wrinkle In Time and The Invisible Man is such a talented actress. She is so adorable! David Oyelowo is a remarkable actor as well. Mykelti Williamson doesn't age at all! I am so shocked because he looks exactly like he did on Forrest Gump and Species. I loved him on part 1 and 2.
Great writing, great acting, great movie!
Chambers (2019)
Canceled Too Soon!
I cannot believe Netflix has canceled this show! I think it's a racially motivated decision because the lead character's ethnicity. This show is The Haunting of Hill House Good!! I binged all 10 episodes in the span of 12 hours. I am very upset because it draws you in from the first episode, and I feel like there were no boring episodes. They're telling a story the same as Hill House! We were led through the character's journey and received the answer to the mystery during the 10th episode which was genius. No cliffhanger to make you wonder what the heck is going on. Now that the character knows who she is, now we want to know what she is going to do with all of that power!
Neighbors 3: Zombies Rising (2016)
Love Seth & Zac! So Funny! Thumbs Up Please Begin Filming!
I don't understand why the idiots on here are taking this so seriously. It's a spoof and they released it to get a few laughs, and maybe the buzz would give them the green light to actually make a full featured film out of this. It's for the fans and their previous films were hilarious. Seth Rogen films are for people who don't have a stick up their asses. It's simple comedy that you can choose to enjoy or avoid if you're a freaking weirdo who feels the need to dissect every line that is said to gain a laugh. You people are way too uptight and exactly the kind of people who should be banned from watching comedy films. If you have a hard time laughing then avoid this short film and save yourself some self inflicted disappointment. Comedies should be enjoyed by people with a sense of humor period! Overly critical people should be banned from spreading negative criticism. Screw freedom of speech! Not everyone should have a say to bash people who devote their lives to trying to entertain us.
The Incredible Jessica James (2017)
Expected My Expectations
Sooooo Good!!! Filled with hilarious humor, Jessica Williams is a superbly talented actress. Watching the fantasies of having an awkward post break up conversation with her ex was so funny! Lakeith Stanfield is such a cutie. I was like ooh that's the guy from the movie, "Get Out." Chris O'Dowd portrayed Boone a recent divorcée, and he is also a very funny actor with much to contribute in terms of building his connection to Jessica. Tasha reminds me of Six from Blossom for some reason. She's so funny with such a bubbly personality! The drama class scenes with the children was so creative. Will Netflix turn this into a TV show because I definitely want to see more from this cast.
