Signs (2002)
One of the best films in a long time
This was one of the best films I have seen since late July, last year, when the 2001 Planet of the Apes came out.
I have laughed in the beginning of the movie, me, and my friend saw this one together, and we made a bet of who can say, and point out Mel Gibson in the movie.
It was wonderful, and scary! ::: spoiler of lots of parts::::
When the German Shepherd was about to attack Bo, and Morgan, I jumped with fright by the sounds of the dog. It was soo suddenly, and scary, meant to scare you.
When the Uncle was watching the news, when the video tape on the news showed a birthday party, it showed lots of kids gathering around the windows, then it had two buildings out the window on each side, with a open space between it. Then it showed a human looking body figure, covered in green, walking past, so straight, then looking at the children inside. From the looks of the figure, it was an Alien. then the news shoed the tape again, and showed it again, and I was about to look away from the screen it was sooooo scary!!
Also, when Graham (Mel Gibson) looked under the door, to see the alien in the pantry, he saw a hand reach out to him from under the door, with long finger nails, he had a knife, that he took earlier, before he looked under, and quickly, sliced off the fingers to defend himself. Another part meant to scare you, that really does do it, SCARE YOU!! it was very scary with lots of stuff saying "It's the end of the World"
One of the parts, that was funny, was when Graham asked what they would like to eat. Bo said pasta, Morgan said French Toast, the Uncle said Chicken, and Graham said he would like a Burger with Bacon, Extra Bacon. Anyway, when they were eating, Graham did not want to pray at the table, then Morgan said he hated him, then Graham went crazy. he said "Well, if nobody's going to eat, I will try a little bit of everything" he took a whole French toast, and shoved it into his mouth, and took some of the pasta, and some of the chicken. He started crying from what Morgan said, then Morgan came over, and hugged him. They all hugged, then Graham pulled the Uncle over, and hugged him too. It was a type of thing that is funny, only if you see it.
There was not much swearing in the movie at all, no nudity, and it was very good! Much scarier than "the Blare Witch Project," and had a twist that you did not know, until the end, like "Sixth Sense" I don't get how soo many newspaper critics can say it was the worst movie Mel Gibson did, and all that stuff.
Men in Black II (2002)
Almost as good as the first
It was almost as good as the first! I had read the book before seeing the second one in the movie theater, and let me tell you this, the book had much more Swearing than the movie.
:::Spoiler::::
I saw Frank the dog in the first one, and now in the second one, and I wished he would had stayed with Agent Jay, or I wished Agent Jay was not soo hard on him. I do not get the ending, where Agent Kay opens up the door, and they are in a big locker themselves. I mean, it was not in the first one! It was very very good though. I saw it after seeing "Signs" and it was a good movie to cool down on, to get your mind off those scary parts in Signs. In the Book, at the end, Jay had to decide if he wanted to be in Men In Black, or be with Laura, and he decided "we are who we are" and they just used the flashy thing on Laura. In the Movie however, it was that Laura was daughter of the Princess of a planet that needed the light of Zartha, and she flew off in the space ship, off to her home planet, but she did not know that, nor did she remember.
In the end of the book, also they showed what happened to the two headed guy, that Agent Kay said that there was probably a place for them in the Post Office (where Agent Kay Worked before Agent Jay got him back into the Men In Black) So, if you see the movie, it is good to read the book too.
Anyway, in the end of the both, book, and movie, Agent Jay had a broken Heart. You knew though, as soon as you saw Laura, that Agent Jay liked her, even though many times he said no. the movie was very cool, and a must see movie if you like Men In Black (one). Tommy Lee Jones, and Will Smith are perfect together as Partners, and the Acting is perfect. Lots of the people in the first one were in the second. They had Zed, The PawnShop guy, and even the guy in the first one that got slimed up to the roof, he played the video tape owner.
A 10 Out of 10, A Must see for Men In Black lovers.
Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (2002)
Worst movie, bad enough they have made a 4th one!
Air Bud was a good movie, if you don't mind bad acting, Air Bud two has gone far enough! The dog died after the first movie was made, and he was not even a golden retriever! The second one had worst acting in it too. Air Bud three was totally stupid, and a waste of time, and money.
I cannot believe they came out with an Air Bud 4! how in the heck can a dog hit a baseball with a bat!? How does the dog even know the rules of baseball, and the first owner in the first movie the "Clown" only taught him basketball! not all these other sports, and they had to just get Josh out of the picture somehow!
So that means the dog is at least 13 years old in this movie, if the first movie the younger sister was a baby, and now going into jr. high! Give me a break! Not even a toddler would like this!
The people of air bud has gone far enough, and now they are probably going to go out with more, to do ALL the sports.
All in all, don't waste you money, nor your time watching this movie!
The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course (2002)
Dumbest thing that ever got made
Bad enough they have a TV show, but now they have a movie. If you don't want to waste your money, nor time, nor want to be bored out of your wits, don't see this movie! It totally sucks, and bad filming, because you see the camera men all the time. His glass for a scene moves, first it is on the left, then the next shot of him it is to the right.
I regreted seeing this movie, I just wanted to see who was really in it, and I will tell you some advice, DON'T SEE THIS STUPID MOVIE.
I Love Lucy (1951)
The name really gives it what it is
"I Love Lucy" is a very good show. But at sometimes, I cannot believe Ricky can hit, and abuse Lucy like that, with that backround fake laughing. My favorite episodes are: Where Lucy's brings a cheese as a baby on an airplane, and little Ricky brings home a puppy, and where Lucy, and Ricky split the room into two. Those are my Favorites, and I always check the TV listings to see when it is on. I totally love this show.... They over did it with "the Lucy show" though. Good for Lucy when she stands up to Ricky.
Planet of the Apes (1968)
This is a great movie of color, apes, and more!
Planet Of The Apes has got to be my favorite movie of all times. It is very touching, I love Cornelius, the Chimpanzee, played by Roddy McDowall. He, Kim Hunter,Marice Evans, and Lou Wagner do a brilliant job acting as Apes. As Kim Hunter said in "Behind the Planet of the Apes" that Chalton Heston was too serious off screen, as in, he really wanted there to be "NO SEQUELS" But, as good as the first one, in an amazing sequel , they still managed to make four more great sequels, a must see movies!
They even came out with a TV show, in 1974, a premiere of "Back to the Planet of the Apes" TV series began. Sadly, after only thirteen episodes, they canceled it, due to the channel did not only want "Children" as their only veiwers.
For Planet of the Apes, The Ending is like no other, it is remarkable, I totally love it. I will not give it away, but once you see it, you will want to see it again, and again.
Before The Planet of the Apes movie, a book by Pierre Boulle called "Monkey Planet" began The Amazing Ape story. They Translated it into English, and made "Planet of the Apes" as a movie, and in 1968 the smashing hit came out. It is my favorite book.
I totally recommend seeing this movie, and reading this book!!
