This is a movie that tries too much. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt work great with the material that they were given, yet the material itself and editing fall short of a good ones.
The "Edge of Tomorrow" and " a " Mad Max" easter eggs are obvious, as well as ridiculous movie "cowboys vs aliens". The parody is there, but the punchline is missing.
If anything I liked the portrayal of Aharon Taylor Johnson's bad guy, to actually bring this movie to a successful conclusion.
Movie creators are a bit out of touch, in regards to the plot. Obviously it's idiotic as it's suppose to be, but doubt the regular viewer can relate to "awesomeness" of a common stunt guy in a Hollywood movie.
I conclusion, it worth to watch once and forget it ever existed.
