Brick (2005)
One of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
Never have I seen a movie so up its own ass. It was woefully stupid. Rian Johnson is perhaps my least favorite director in Hollywood. Hack. He ruined star wars, and this film should have been a warning.
The Green Knight (2021)
Choppy and largely pointless.
Skip this one. It rarely makes sense, and when it does it just jumps to some other random scene you wont care about. One of the most frustrating views we've ever had. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Resident Evil 3 (2020)
Incredibly disappointing after the FANTASTIC RE2 remake
Lots of problems here. Poor level design, buggy, boring fights, a skippable story, and very little uniqueness.
The graphics and sound is stellar. 10/10 actually. However, thats it. I hope they do better with the RE4 remake.
Buy on sale.
What We Do in the Shadows: Brain Scramblies (2020)
Limted laughs, but ok overall.
The first act had zero laughs or interesting moments. It picked up after that, but not by a ton. Disappointing after the first two episodes which were stellar.
South Park: Pinewood Derby (2009)
A giant, brilliant metaphor.
This episode was amazing. If you are into the subject of alien life, then you may have already heard of the "Galactic Federation of Planets." Trey Parker uses the metaphor of The Pinewood Derby, and the "approved kit" to hit on the subject of alien influence in our own technology. If you believe in recovered UFO's (which I do, and clearly Trey does) then it is not far fetched to believe we have reverse-engineered alien technology for our own advancements. However, we did not discover this technology on our own, therefore.. "we did not use what was in the approved kit." And we have no right to join the Galactic Federation of Planets. We have been visited... but, to what extent.. remains to be seen.
