So Help Me Todd: Dial Margaret for Murder (2024)
Loooooove this show!
This show is great, the 2 leads are perfectly cast & the supporting players are excellent, too. It is quite a clever twist on the procedural format.
But Dial Margaret for Murder?! OMG! Hysterical! Like one guest star's character stated at one point, "I may have just wet my pants!" In my case, from laughing so hard. The whole episode was so darn funny. The Lee sisters & the Allstate Mayhem actor as another PI-all 3 actors deserve Best Guest Supporting Actor Emmys NOW! I hope they pop up again as recurring characters. They are like the icing on the cake of an already stellar production! Keep doing what you're doing!
Heartstopper (2022)
Tears of Joy & Inner Reflection
The premise of this show seemed kind of cliche but thought I'd give it a go. I've always liked teen dramas & romantic films, so.... I am a bit late to the show having only started watching it in March 2024.
OMG! My heart about burst after S1, Episode 1!' Kit & Joe, in particular, are absolutely amazing, but I love every character & the actor portraying them. I actually rewatch key scenes of earlier
episodes each night before proceeding to a new one.
The way Nick/Kit is with Charlie/Joe is so endearing. The way he looks at him, and genuinely cares about him - well, it just fills my heart with joy.
I realize this is just a show, but it really has all of the feels for me.
I only wish this beautiful series was around when I was their age. I didn't come to terms with my sexuality in high school, but the feelings were there & knew I was different. Older generations had to suppress or hide a lot. I was no exception. Unfortunately, that can weave a thread of pain throughout one's entire life-it can be challenging learning to love yourself for who you are & live your truth.
This is a very impactful series. I put it up there with another fave of mine in its own right: Brokeback Mountain.
Kudos to everyone involved in this production!!! Thank you!!!
