Don is an enhanced version of old Don

The much awaited movie of the year 2006 is Don.I must admit it is an enhancement to the older version of DON that features Amitabh Bachan."DON ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin na mumkin hai".Farhan Akthar highlighted this particular statement in this film where it was not given much importance in the older version.DON is worth watching for Farhan Akthar's direction style.He got pure excellence to the film.He amalgamated latest technologies to this old story.SRK performed well in the tittle role.Action scenes were conceived well.In fact the best in the recent time.Photography is exceptional.Chasing scenes are the best in the film.Priyanka is stunningly gorgeous in the film.Isha did well in her role.Boman Irani excelled in the film.DON's story is that to Indian Cinema like God Father film's story to Hollywood.Thatwhy it was remade in that many languages such as Telugu,Tamil,Malayalam etc.First half is predictable if u remember the old DON.But it was second half that chokes you.Petronas scene of Arjun Rampal,DON kidnapping scene,DON entrance scene,Climax all are exceptionally shot.Music especially Background score by Shankar,Ehsaan and Loy is terrific.The full credit must be given to the Director.It is Farhan's excellent adaption to one of the most popular film stories in Indian Film History.A must if you are fond of action flicks.The song featuring Priyanka and Isha is the best song of the year 2006 and it will stimulate you pleasurably.All in all,A worth watching film with amazing stunts and exotic locales.

Jodhaa Akbar (2008)

Jodhaa Akbar is a well made love story and war based film

Jodha-Akbar is a motley of exceptional love,Terrific Action,Soulful music and splendid cinematography.It is one of the most uncommon films and a must see one if you want to witness something special.The film got combative stunts and it has everything to please everyone.But on the other side,the film is slow and lengthy.The first half of the film lasts more than 2 hrs yet the twists and turns will glue the audience to the cinema.Hrithik was awesome as Akbar and Aishwarya was majestic as Jodha.Direction was at the best.Ashutosh proved yet another blockbuster which falls in the same line of Lagaan and Swades.May be he need to concentrate on the duration of the film by chopping off few scenes.Jodha Akbar is basically a love story instead of calling it as a War based film.The film lacks pace and slow narration of few scenes and the frequent usage of Urdu language made the audience ambiguous and also boring.But at the other end,even though the film lasts for more than 3.30 min,it is gripping enough and very much bearable.The Director need to edit the film and make it as a 3 hrs film so that the audience will like this film even more.The huge star-cast of Hrithik-Ash playing as Akbar and Jodha might have evoked a lot of curiosity among the audience before the release but i must admit the film almost lived up to the expectations.The love part was dealt exceptionally well and it is the forte for the film.The film depicted the Legacy of Akbar.The film also shown that Akbar did lot good for Hindus. I don't feel,the film will hurt any religion sentiments.The director did an excellent job in maintaining the balance.A R Rahman's background score was very good and music is freshy.And adding to that,the picturisation of the songs is spectacular.Especially Azeem-O-Shaanshahensha,it is definitely one of the best ever pictured songs in the history of Indian Cinema.Overall, a film worth watching.

Om Shanti Om (2007)

Om Shanti Om is a mas-ala film

OSO is a mediocre film.The film got lots of surprises to choke you..The film starts well with good scenes and simulation to Old period.The first half of the film is decent with good comedy scenes and the Director really created exceptional images of the 70s and 80 s.The film features everyone.Everyone know the song "Deewangi" features 30 stars but other than that,the film also features Amitabh,Hrithik,Abhishek,Akshay and in fact every star in the Bollywood fraternity.This mas-ala is the saving grace for the film.The first half ends with an extraordinary twist.And in the second half,we see the 6 pack Khan.From Jeetendra to Hrithik,Shahrukh was present in everybody's character.Second half is entirely different.It is in fact out f reach.No one could ever think that OSO have a second half like this.Deepika Padukone is really a star,She is definitely the next superstar.She got the looks and she performed well.Arjun Rampal did well in negative role.The climax must have been dealt better.Music is very fine.And,the Background score by Sandeep Chowtha is fine.Well,Om Shanti Om works only because of the hype and mas-ala that is part of SRK films.I was surprised by the ratings given to this film.The script is weak.Yet,the film provides entertainment.It is a time pass film.And,all the mas-ala and jinx kept this film in the hit category.But the film doesn't deserve to be a huge hit.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Ocean's Eleven is a perfect Entertainer

Ocean's Eleven is a perfect Entertainer.It got ace star-cast.And colossal performances from everyone.The forte of this film is the plot and the film was shot in exotic locales.A film mostly meant for entertainment.The action sequences were executed well.The film definitely served as an exemplary to slew of "cat and mouse" play based films.Goerge Clooney lived the character of Ocean and the other stars Brad Pitt,Matt Damon,Julia Roberts,Andy Garcia put excellent performances.There is not a single scene in the film which is unnecessary.A complete film with all the entertainment values.The background score is electric.In fact,this is the best of all the 3 parts based on this film.A must see film.
