I've been watching George Lopez show reruns and loved them. When I heard that he had a new show I thought great. Loved George. The plot sounded good. I've watched the first two episodes and I don't care for it. I love his daughter and the actor who plays her husband. Those are the only two likable characters. I don't like George and he was the reason I watched. The George that is portrayed is more like the George Lopez the tabloids used to talk about. Alcoholism, etc .Which is sad. They have included an annoying laughter track probably because the show isn't funny. Sadly to say I really don't see myself watching anymore episodes.

Candyman
(2021)
Interesting idea but too woke, crt
2 September 2021
I love the original Candyman and I love Tony Todd as the original Candyman. He's an amazing actor.
The story was interesting and the flashbacks with shadow puppets was a unique idea. The actors gave good performances. The only thing I disliked was the wildness. The critical race theory involved. All the bad guys were white. White is bad. I know there are controversies on horror pages that if you didn't like this movie you're racist. That's completely uncalled for.
When I go to a horror film I want to leave the horrors and what's happening in the outside world at the door. I want to be scared. I want a movie that is made for everyone despite what color they are.

Michael Jackson is Alive!

Pearl Jr.'s Alive 4 is the fourth in the Alive documentaries. As usual Pearl did her homework and offers fascinating facts that shows how Michael Jackson faked his death. I am looking forward to seeing more Alive documentaries in the future.
