Abraham Ozler (2024)
An unconventional thriller
Abraham ozler is quite different from other investigation thriller but it lacked the punch of a thriller as a whole. The movie to be frank cannot be called a thriller but just a mystery or drama. Considering the popularity it gained it is a clear disappointment. The casting is not that appreciative. The supporting characters seemed to be misplaced. Mammooka has been his best in the movie as usual. But Jayaram's acting especially at the initial stages of the movie was not that great. The casting which showed the past timeline was really good.
Coming to the story line, it was slow paced and lacked suspense. It was so dramatic and thus cannot be considered a pure thriller. But Maybe they wanted to come up with an unconventional thriller. Cinematography was not that great either.
The movie is only worth a single watch and is very loosely written. It was struggling to keep up the pace in general.
The ending also disappointed but it probably should be a hint to the upcoming part. They could have ended the story in one go without going for a second part. Hope the second part would be interesting.

A Decent Investigation Thriller
The movie started off in a usual manner, just as we see in other investigation thrillers. The movie had mainly two investigations and both were very gripping murder mysteries. At the initial stages some dialogues felt as cliche and boring. But throughout the movie it was able to keep the expectations of the viewers very high and they were able to fulfill it in a decent manner. For a usual investigation thriller fan it might not seem with lot of twists and unexpected events. Some were predictable. This movie just had than one weak point. But overall it is a great one time watch movie. And Tovino playing the lead has performed his best as he always does. Some supporting caste also has done a great job. Towards the end it didn't seem that satisfactory. But after all cinemas nowadays heavy rely on realistic portrayals. So such an ending was justifiable. But overall a great watching experience. Do watch it!
A Ranjith Cinema (2023)
An utter disappointment
The movie showed how bad a comparatively good storyline can be executed. The movie started of as the portrayal of a middle class movie enthusiast who fell in love, with all those usual cliche situations which makes it cringe right from the beginning. Within the first few minutes we might get the tendency to stop continuing. By the intermission it tries to pick up the pace with some unforseen events but stills ends up as an utter disaster. The protagonist is depicted as a clear dummy who just keeps on doing some nonsense just for the storyline to carry on. It irritates the viewers. They tried to deliver something big but all the combinations were too unprofessional. Somehow reached the end and the ending illuminated the failure even more. Better don't watch it and waste your time.
