Tee Yod (2023)
This movie literally made my head hurt due to stress because it was so bad, and we really hated it.
This movie literally made my head hurt due to stress because it was so bad, and we really hated it. Many parts of the story lacks proper and good build up. Most parts are just dragging. Thus, you will be surprised that some parts happened without even any connection to the other parts of the story. Also, you will not feel the perfect amount of fear, sadness and attachment to some parts of the movie and even to characters because of the lack of build up. There was also some unnecessary flexing of muscles that seemed to me as an attempt to makeup for the lack of quality in the story. We fast forwarded the movie because we realized it was not worth watching and easily understood the movie. Obviously, nothing good happened in the story. The characters were even dumber than normal dumb characters in horror movies. Some actors also didn't do a great job in their acting. If you are just bored and have so much time to waste, you can waste your time by watching this because you can only expect nothing good from this.
Poor Things (2023)
Repelling. Would have been trash if not because of the cinematography, production design and actors
Uncaptivating movie. I easily forget the title because the movie is something that you would just want to forget.
I felt like I was traumatized by the movie. Poor Things tried to be a feminist movie, but failed. The Barbie (2023) movie was not perfect but it was even better than Poor Things.
We watched this movie because we expected it to be great.
A lot of details, parts and moments were just wasted because they were not followed through.
You were expecting something great at a lot of different parts of the movies, but nothing came out or were just disappointing.
I don't doubt the actors because they are veterans. The production design, the cinematography, etc. Was just fine. If it weren't for them, the movie would absolutely be a trash. The story of any movie is the most important. Poor Things tried its story to be deep, but came out very shallow and mostly just sex. The movie was too long but not focused on the story and mostly composed of unnecessary sex.
It could have been shorter if they lessened the sex part and focused on creating and executing a great story.
