Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023)
Seriously, Paramount, what is it?!
When I saw this movie I was delighted, and immediately remembered the first part from the late eighties and my childhood. Ok, I also liked the part from 2019, the so-called remake, and I approached this film full of optimism. Actually, I made one of the biggest mistakes of not stopping the movie at 40 minutes. In fact, this is a textbook example of how to destroy a wonderful franchise. This is actually a TV movie, nothing more. I would understand that it's some other movie company, but it's Paramount, folks. Honestly, I'm sorry that there is no zero star rating for movies on imbd, because one star for this movie is a reward for it. Shame on you Paramount for destroying my childhood memories for this movie!
Ahsoka (2023)
Nostalgia, but in a pleasant and modern way
The Mandolorian is great for me, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Star Wars series. Ok, maybe a little with little Yoda, that is, little Grogu, possibly something else, but for me this is the first, real Star Wars series that takes me back to the beginning of 2000. Especially when I saw Anakin, played perfectly by Hayden Christensen. Time stopped at that moment, and I was directly in the above-mentioned year, that is, for years. Literally, the beginning of this century was again before my eyes. Especially in the fifth episode when Ashoka tells Anakin-you look the same, and he answers her- you get old. A heartbreaking scene full of nostalgia, but in a modern way with a touch of optimism in it, and that's what Anakin said to Ashoka- you're never too old to learn. I really enjoyed it all. I gave it a nine stars only because I didn't watch it all the way to the end, and I have to watch this fifth episode again. Of course, as a fan of the Star Wars franchise, I am subjective, although I recommend this comment only to fans of the Star Wars series. I also hope there will be more seasons in the future. Ahsoka, congratulations, you brought me back to my youth, not to my youth, but to my most exciting years of my life, whether they were beautiful or ugly.
Extraction 2 (2023)
Don't believe the high rating here
I looked at the ratings here first, then
comments and decided to enjoy the movie. Unfortunately, I made a big mistake but now it's too late for me, but I want to help people not to make the same mistake as me. Ok, the movie is watchable mainly because of the constant action, Chris is also good, but compare this movie with any of the John Week series is blasphemy, especially since they belong to the same, that is, similar, genre. Honestly, I would rather compare it to Fast and Fourious, because of the action packed. The first part is better (for me), but what Netflix throws out of movies, this is quite ok. It doesn't matter because I'm expecting the third part and I sincerely hope it will be much better.
