Watch It

An excellent movie, well worth your time. Starts a bit slowly, the time spent developing the story is well worth it. Outstanding performance by Tim Blake Nelson.

A little surprise at the end... The movie flew by, a testament to how well the story flows, and is acted out.

Highly recommended.

All in all, an interesting show. Gets frustrating what with all the horrible decisions made by characters who are otherwise intelligent. Give it a try, definitely will suck you in...

I have been watching this show since it started, and at times it was a bit left-wing preachy, but it did a decent job of trying to represent different points of view. It has become unwatchable. The show has devolved into propaganda, incorporating lies and caricature stereotypes. A real shame, for the message regarding finding solutions for our nation's healthcare issues are now drowned out...

The Art of Self-Defense (2019)

Start with a bunch of simplistic stereotypes, add in some unfunny and flat "humor", finish off with zero intelligent plot or point. A mess... Seemingly written be a 16 year old with no imagination or idea of what life and people entail... Miss it

The Fugitive (2020)

Imagine the dumbest people you can think of. They are the characters of this show.

Awful. Very dumb people trying to solve a horrific crime. Dumb police, dumb reporter. The march to idicracy continues with this show. 3 "episodes" was all I could stand. The people who wrote this should never work in television again.

Anna (II) (2019)

The movie is well written(if you ignore the time period errors) and acted, but if you have watched more than 1 spy movie, nothing will surprise you. With good pace and quality action sequences, the movie is quite enjoyable, even though very predictable. I would recommend giving it a watch, just don't expect to be wowed...

I was intrigued by the premise, but it feels like everyone is just mailing it in. To be fair to the acting crew, the writing is so lazy and boring it is no wonder that the acting is uninspired. Gave it a shot, watched 5 episodes and it has gotten progressively worse. No mas.

I read both of Caleb Carr's books (The Alienist & The Angel of Darkness), from which this show was inspired, and loved them. I have tried to like this show, but it has not been able to draw me in. I watched 5 episodes and quit due to boredom. While the actors all do well, the show is slow and uninteresting in my opinion. That being said, it is still better than most of the mindless dreck on tv...

The plot-line was interesting to me,so I watched the first episode. Aside from the plot itself, the show offers little intellectual stimulation. Formulaic, rather boring, and high school level dialogue. Truly lowest common denominator television.

Movies that basically have 1 character are very hard to pull off. This film does it. The story was interesting and the acting is good. Kept me intrigued right to the end. Would definitely recommend this film.
