Boston Legal: The Ass Fat Jungle (2005)
Incorrect reading
At the end of the episode Shirley says foolishness instead of incredulity, which is the original word used by Charles Dickens.
UFO (2018)
Great movie and very watchable
The movie is slow paced, but full of intrigue. It leads you to understand what it takes to report something like this to a world that has become so skeptical and anti UFO. People that can't think past their left thumb seem to be what is called normal these days. And the ending, I will not give it away, gives way to the probability of a sequel. Hoping that is the case. Well done writer, actors, directors on a great movie.
Lethal Weapon (2016)
Best show cop show on TV today
I watched and loved the movie. But this TV spinoff is so great. It is a feel good show, even with all the violence. I would let my grandma watch it. How did they make this show so great? It is the writers, directors, actors, and all kinds of stuff. Thank you for making this show.
The OA (2016)
This show is worse than a soap opera
If you are expecting a show that gets to the point, look elsewhere. The show after 5 episodes keeps droning on and on to build the suspense. We are talking about hour long shows here people. Get to the point already, and move on. I want to see magical powers, supernatural events, crap, even seeing the villain arrested. However, the show does have a new idea for shows, but I detest the use of profanity. My adopted mother said it was a sure sign of a lack of vocabulary when people are reduced to using profanity, especially when they take God's name in vain. Also, the nude scenes are not pivotal to the plot. This is nothing more than gratuitous nudity.
Walker, Texas Ranger (1993)
One of the best cop shows ever made
I am not surprised that the children that vote on this site don't like this show. Their contempt for the law is obvious, and was taught by their step parents.
The star of the show is a born again Christian and has a heart of gold. But the show does have action and adventure for all. I love the Native American aspect of the show as I am also part Native American. My great grandmother was born and raised on a reservation. She took me to that reservation as a small child and I have fond memories of that.
His sidekick is an African-American and that too is awesome. He too is a hero in every sense of the word. The only regret I have with this show is that they moved it from Fort Worth, TX to Dallas, TX. LOL Have fun watching and ignore the bad ratings from the children that post here.
Dune (1984)
One of the best movies I have ever seen.
I was privileged to be able to see this movie when it first came out in theaters back in the 1980's. And I have to tell you that it blew me away. The music, the acting, the special effects .... all out of this world.
One thing I thought was kind of silly was the voice over they gave the little girl towards the end of the movie. It wasn't silly enough to change my rating from a 10 though. LOL As for those that read the book, that is their problem. I didn't, and now probably never will due their rantings. If anything someone should write the book based totally on this movie. It is awesome just the way it is. And for those that say they couldn't understand what was going on without reading the book, well maybe you need to re-watch this movie over and over until you do. I have picked up different nuances every time I watch it, and that must have been at least 40 times by now.
And finally, watch this in Blu-Ray on a high-def TV or monitor, with 5.1 sound. It is well worth it.
Enterprise (2001)
This is the last season of Enterprise
I hate to see the last Star Trek franchise close up shop, but... Just saw on TV that this is the last season. Only 3 years? Most Star Trek spin-offs were 7 years, right? Must be the terrible ratings.
The show would have been better if they had written it more like the original, and even more violent than Kirk's generation. Crap, they should have consulted William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy on this one, just to keep it historically accurate.
But, I will miss this show. I loved Scott Bakula as Captain Archer. And I loved the opening song. It is very cool. But I hated the fact that they made Earth a primitive planet in comparison to the Andorian's which in the original Star Trek were inferior technologically speaking. Crap, even the Klingon's were superior in Enterprise. Too many inconsistencies also.
The Cheap Detective (1978)
Very funny movie
This is a classic that will live forever. Peter Falk did a superb job in this spoof. The part I liked the best was the drinks hidden in drawers, but already mixed and in glasses. And the part about the police finding the bodies was just too much. This is a must see.
