Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (2024)
Absolute garbage
Another pointless remake. Remember when Disney remade Adventures in Babysitting and ruined it? Yeah well this is even worse. Not only is this movie painfully unfunny- I literally did not laugh one time- it's the definition of "pointless"... Why did they remake this movie?!? They race swap the family for no reason (oh wait, it's a BET production, that's right....) just they can exploit all the black "humor" this movie is so hard to watch. They keep all the characters names (and get rid of one of the siblings) but for some reason they changed the lead characters name from Sue Ellen to Tanya. Why??? Avoid this garbage at all costs.
Good Burger 2 (2023)
So bad
I saw part 1 in theaters when I was 10 years old. Grew up watching that orange VHS and later I got the DVD. The first movie is genuinely funny, charming and full of entertainment. Not a dull moment. This sequel is so painfully boring, cringeworthy and NOT funny. Everything is forced. There was maybe 2 moments of the movie that I even smiled at. I literally did not laugh once. The first movie has me laughing constantly even after all the times I've seen it. This movie felt so forced, I rolled my eyes so many times. It's almost the same plot as the original too. Avoid this awful movie at all costs!!!
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Forget the Paul Anderson movies
Let's just pretend those awful Paul Anderson movies don't exist because this is truly how a Resident Evil movie should be made. Those Paul Anderson movies felt like cheap Michael Bay rip offs, using little to none of the source material of the games. Although this movie does try to jam the first and second game into an hour and 47 minute long movie, I still give them credit. At least it felt like it took place in the same universe as the games. So many Easter eggs for the fans. Even if you're not a fan of the games I can't see how you would hate this movie. Sure, some of the casting choices could have been better (Leon and Jill) but it's still the most faithful live action adaption of the video games we've ever got. I am a life long fan of the games, been playing them since the first one came out on PlayStation almost 30 years ago. If you're skeptical about this movie and you're a Resident Evil fan- give this a chance.
