Léon (1994)
About Jean Reno and making the audience Relax
According to Jean Reno, he decided to play Léon as if he were "a little mentally slow" and emotionally repressed. He felt that this would make audiences relax and realize that he wasn't someone who would take advantage of a vulnerable young girl. Reno claims that for Léon, the possibility of a physical relationship with Mathilda is not even conceivable, and as such, during the scenes when such a relationship is discussed, Reno very much allowed Portman to be emotionally in control of the scenes.
Allright ..
The Track from Bjork - Venus as a Boy ... Crushes that instantly
Them Lyrics is very ugly...
Raskens (1976)
Totally awesome language spoken that swede's don't use at all
This has alot , but I will give the best and most normal person to the Person who played Father of the daughter that on episode 6 went really bad mentally after going through baby delivery
This Man did not give Me any negative feelings at all
He was very calm thru out
Raskens lied alot
He hurted His Family members in different ways
This series is Top of the line
The Grudge 3 (2009)
what a piece of disappointment
this story is way off the line next to the 2 first ones. It has lack of spirit in creating the chilling environment , it has no good story (way way off its origin) , it has no energy or creativity that The Grudge has. And worst of all it ends up leading right towards yet another sequel - thinking of that makes my tommy ache and i don't feel like sleeping .. Those feelings should have been coming from the movie and not from knowing there will be a 4'th Grudge or shall i call it The Smudge. I wont salute this one even tho I am truly a horror lover that goes back to the start of night of the living dead and dawn of the dead time.
1 Tip to the producer/s and the directors of photography - 'move back 20+ years in the time and use old and non-digital equipment , to get that feeling and emotion which comes from hard work with tape and not from some cgi students from a 2-3 day worth of time folds up in the effect and makeup side.
and for Cosmos sake , bring some ideas from your friends like Romero , Fulci , deodato , and the rest that had that Glow for making shocking scenes with ends of the movies that you get up from the seat at the cinema or wherever you go to , with a smile and a satisfaction of having watched a Good solid horror flick that doesn't kill the mood while consuming it.
OH yeah... Hail to Lucio Fulci , the guy that made me stack up VHS tapes from floor to roof... AMEN and Good night
Lost: Cabin Fever (2008)
A Fine story about John Locke
First off , I have to comment about the written PlotSynopsis above (I added myself warnings to read that one), that is completely typed down frame by frame on what is going on in this weeks episode of Lost - that is wrong , and should not be read before seeing this episode!!!.
While John Locke , Hurley and Benjamin Linus is on a scout for Jacob's wisdom and fortune, the Soldiers on the big Ship is loading up with the aim to destroy the island and kill all the people on it...
During these 2 missions is on we see how John locke is born , raised and bullied in his period in school and that he in his early youth spoken to that he is a very special child meant to be a special someone This is a very fine episode , it gets a good 8 out of 10
Lost: Meet Kevin Johnson (2008)
Michael is back and has a mission set to rescue everyone on the island..
This week we get to know everything about Michael , where he has been and what he is meant to do now. Michael is in terrible psychological state and tries to kill himself by car , and by a gun that has been loaded up with 6 rounds , a revolver that he got from a pawn shop , putting it to his head and *click* .. nothing happens , and one time again... The Island wont let Michael to die , he has a upcoming purpose now - given a mission from one of the others that is also on land , to get on a ship where there are a man that has the intention to get Ben Linus off of the Island and kill all the other that is still alive. This makes Michael to think of all his friends over there and takes the job on the ship with another identity and becomes the ships deck-man. All undercover he gets a phone call from Walt he believes but it is Ben that phones this ship and really Need! to speak to Michael about how the plan is going to be.. So now we know the mystery about Michael and his son Walt - they DID get off the island safe , but got into a family disaster when Michael comes forward to tell Walt that he killed 2 women on the island for the sake to get away from it.
This episode is nothing like the other 6 episodes on the fourth season , this one has a plot and a good one , enjoyed the whole 50+ minutes and wanted to see more when it ended as it got the rhythm in it as a Lost episode should have. Several Season 4 episodes has been a total failure in my opinion as they zikk-zakk whissshh woosshh , from time to time and back and forth in time... it is NOT fun to have these flashes of the future, Get back to the writing and give us the Season 1 and 2 atmosphere which was a total Winning and entertaining series.
8/10 (for the Michael story)
The Tracey Ullman Show: Lottery/Ambulance Pickup/Golf/Girl on a Ledge (1987)
as Cult as can be , from the first frame to Big screen
The Simpsons is here! Born and put on frames so the world can enjoy the birth of Worlds most watched and entertaining Cartoon series of all time. In this premiere with the Family of 5 we get to them close at night starts to break in. Marge and Homer tucks the children in while singing lullabies to them. It gives the children different feelings and night creeps with a result that the Family all of them ends up in the master-bed which gives the children ease and rest from their mares. Many fun looks and views of how the characters was drawn in this early premiere of 4 minutes of an alternative cartooned family in 1987. The Tracey Ullman Show had a total of 48 episodes with The Simpsons during 1987-1989 and got their own Airing of "The real Simpson's". After almost 20 years drawing cartoons adapted for TV there was in 2007 "Simpsons The Movie" came and overwhelmed the audience in the Cinemas on BIG screen for the first time, and I took many deep breaths and grasped this movie to the max . Shivering and speechless I floated out with the knowing/hope for a sequel which Maggie's first word was at the end of the Feature. From 1987 to today I love Simpson's like I first did when I started to follow the series back in the 90's , when Swedish TV day after day rolled episodes after another with reruns and reruns The Swedish people consumed the Family EVERY DAY :) Fan as I am from all the years I follow The Simpsons with total respect to the writers , especially Matt Groening and Dan Castellaneta, names i pronounced wrong for 18 years. I'd like to see more from these Men with all my heart and soul wrapped in every detail for future projects. And I would like to say Hi! and Thank you Mr. Groening for all these years of entertainment and I look forward to more of what you got to give. Bless you and all of the involved staff/members for all the years that has gone. Thank You , have a good one :) Cheers from a very simple guy in Sweden with good and lots of humor.
PS. forgive me for my medium knowledge in the English language , please correct me
..AMEN..
Side Effects (2005)
Low budget can be for the positive
I read some posts about the movies budget. what I can say is that this is an extraordinary movie with "soul" in it , and that effect , i doubt , wouldn't get that intense with 10 million dollar budget. The cameras , actors , sets may be awful , besides from Katherine Heigl who does perform Professionaly as can be. she makes the movie fun and very enjoyable to watch , so does the "documentary" style of filming this motion picture. The story is quite interesting and took me behind the scenes of how companies may work , opened my mind at made me think of all money lovers that ain't caring about anything else than the smell of a dollar-bill - and that sucks terrible. As said , i loved every frame of this film , and its Ten out of Ten for its originality , Katherine Heigl , the scores and again , its low budget That made this film so great as it is. After seeing movies that cost more than a country is worth , I thought i wouldn't like this one , but it gave me the opposite feeling . Took me 2 minutes to see that -OMG - this is one interesting flick ; not the usual thousands-of-hours-making-one-scene-film , i got stuck immediately. I will personally tell my friends about this movie , to give it a chance. Well , i think i got what got in my mind here , I beg pardon for my English , correct my errors , and please give me your idea about low-budget films that are really good like this one is. Thank you kindly - Take care , and last but not least :
WATCH MOVIES :))))))
Wake (1987)
WAKE Choruses From Under The Rock
For months I've noticed no one have said anything about this flick. Originally the sound is very plain , as i saw a interview with Andrew telling about this gig, and we got a peek at the concert..... it was No Time To Cry , no effects at all on bass or guitar , but on the official video there is loads of Flanger on bass , and hell of a good sound on the guitar. So I reckon , they played the gig and "fixed" the sound after wards . I watched this "Promo" from Eldritch that was RAW , and then seeing/listening to the DVD , its such a big difference. Some of you may have seen the very short photo from Eldritch , in beard , saying, "heres a little thing from our last gig" then presenting "No time to cry" , and it blasted me as the guitar and bass sounded like there where no effects on it at all. Afterward i realize that they've added the effects AFTER the concert during the making of the video. Seeing WAKE is ultimatum , chorus , flanger , and delays.... I wonder if the performance was not good to Eldritch to release , so he put on the effect he loved , and that we love.. , attacks on guitar and loads of effects on the Bass.
And I'm amazed that no one have told this before , about the original sound , and the altered I give this video a 10+ , if I could. To something different: Andrew got some stuff to do , some fan wishes , He could at least put out a single or 2 , like We are the same , but looks like its just live gigs that interest him , maybe he got some awkward deal on record-companies that holds him back to release stuff , anyways, I have sisters from the -80s and i have them in my heart , they are the best , even if I'm 32 of age and listen to Madonna... Hmmmmm , now it says that it is from 1987 that is completely wrong!
Thanks , I hope you will get some point of view :)
PS. sorry for the spelling
Glass Trap (2005)
what to comment, but a lousy movie
This would be an amazing film in the -50's But nowadays, this is one heck of a bad movie. Like , OK, there are Huge Human eating Ants, and the people in the movie just say, OK, that is a big ant, and they don't get upset as they or I should be if i was in a situation like that. Its like i see a tree that falls down, and i "ooooohhhh" a tree just fell down due to it was old and dead. Emotions in this film is blown away. and when the ""SWAT"" team arrives, a full 4-5 people command line arrives to the place where the ants are bugging people, they simply comes up with the idea to Blow the skyscrape up... Like if 4 people had that power to do so.. Don't go see this movie, unless you are 90+ years of age and haven't seen a film in 50 years.
Cheers
