November Christmas (2010)
Superb Christmas movie
A community comes together to help a family dealing with a young child's cancer. No Christmas prince. No saving the family farm. No girl from the city falls in love with the backwoods boy. But it was just a great Christmas story. The acting is great and the music is good too. You can tell it was made with a purpose of doing a good story rather than a bajillion Christmas movies with nonstop quantity.
Would recommend and watch ever Year.

12 Dog Days of Christmas (2014)
Good story, poor execution
The plot of the movie was actually so good! Really cute and heartwarming, telling the story of a troubled teen that gets a new perspective through court ordered juvenile probation and community service.
However, the script, the production, and much of the acting was really bad. B rating at best. A lot of the blocking was off, the angle the scenes were filmed felt homemade, and some of the lines were truly cringe. I feel the story would do very well remake and a higher budget to get experienced director and production team.
I would watch again for the story but I will definitely be cringing through some of it.
A Unicorn for Christmas (2021)
What a catastrophic miscasting!
As a die hard UUC member forevs, I was disappointed in the live action casting of Snowflake. Snowflake has, and always will be, one the most iconic unicorns of the UUC universe and I don't believe the small pony with a CGI horn did her justice. While some scenes captured her true majestic personality, others, like her farting glitter, were unnecessary. I have always pictured Snowflake as a symbol of strength, and yet she just let herself get captured by some dejected carny and scuzzy ticket taker? Why would they write this? Everyone knows she can shoot lasers, but the writers wanted us to just ignore her most important ability! Unreal! It's clear the writers didn't understand the first thing about Snowflake and the UUC. Next time do your research.
The Holiday (2006)
Classic Christmas movie
While not being inherently a Christmas movie but rather one set at Christmas time, the movie comes with all the usual trapping of a Christmas movie. Love lost, love found, new friendship, new adventures, snow, and British accents.
Something nice about it as it well is that it doesn't contain any of the usual moral issues with "new love at Christmas time." There was no glorifying of cheating or adultery which is really nice compared to today's typical movies.
All the acting is great even for those who play parts atypical of their usual roles. The music is good as well and gives that heartfelt Christmas feeling.
Christmas on Mistletoe Farm (2022)
Silly but heartwarming
Cute and silly. It was over dramatic and overacted, I think on purpose. I think I'm some ways it was meant to be a bit of a spoof on the overdone "save the farm" type Christmas movies with an intense climax all pent up in one moment. Some people may find this cringe or obnoxious but I found it very funny and silly. I had a smile on through most of the movie.
Don't forget all the animals! Baby pigs, baby goats, fabulous ponies, it was adorable. I'm sure kids would love it with the furries and bright colors.
The production quality was a bit low. There were some glitches that I couldn't tell if it was the movie or Netflix.
The Noel Diary (2022)
Good movie, overdone trope
The movie was really enjoyable and all the actors did a good job. I just wish they would abandon the "girl is engaged but finds a charming new guy and after a few days abandons the fiancé" trope. In this case, there was zero respect for the relationship she spends the entire "first date" glamorizing. She doesn't tell her fiancé what she's doing, she admits she was thinking about sex with the new guy since she met him - what?? And they demonize the original guy because he was worried about gas money - not exactly abusive.
The entire movie could have been done without the side story of the engaged girl. It was pointless and quite frankly I'm so tired of this trope. Maybe do a movie where the couple who has lost the spark gets it back rather than just jumping to the next bachelor you happen to meet.
