This is SO awful!!!

The good reviews must be from the cast or the directors. Believe the bad reviews! They should have never produced more than one episode of this mess. It is an interesting idea for a show but the result is a disaster.

None of the cast is good in front of the camera. Ali is fake. Mitch is trying too hard to put on a "look at me" act. Carla's lips are so distracting I can't even pay attention to what she says. The cast's acting about the exercise was so bad it should have been edited out.

I'm really trying to find something good about this show but it's impossible. The results presentation is uncomfortable and Ali acts like she has never given ppl their results before.

If you choose to watch this after reading the reviews, just remember I told you so.

Rough Draft (1998)

Nothing could have made this movie worth watching

I happened up on this movie on Filmrise. Nothing, absolutely nothing, could have made this movie worth watching, not even the cast. I put it on just because of the cast. I loved Arnold Vosloo in "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns". I was greatly disappointed with his acting in this, it was lukewarm at best, as was Madsen's and Busey's. These are good actors so the only thing that makes sense is bad directing and bad writing. This should have been scrapped.

The murderer (Vosloo) sets up a writer ( Busey) to take the blame for a murder. I think Madsen would have been better cast as the murderer and Vosloo as the detective.

If you like to have your TV on for noise while you try to go to sleep, this is the perfect movie for it.

Hoarders (2009– )

Provoking emotion and the sad music are not necessary!

Of all the therapists they've had on the show, Dr. Tolin is the most tolerable. I usually don't finish an episode any more because of Dr. Zasio. She will say whatever it takes to draw more emotion out of ppl, and not for their good! It's for the drama for the show. It's obvious at times that she goes to far to provoke emotion. Shame on her! I can't stand to listen to her! Dr. Tolin tried to tell ppl like it is when he was first on there but he changed. I believe he changed because he was told how to act. That's too bad, I liked him the way he was, himself.

The organizer Dorothy is tied with Dr. Zasio for first place for most annoying person on the show. She is ridiculously over the top with her acting and she, like Dr. Zasio, work hard to make it as dramatic as possible. I like when Matt and Corey are there.

The award for "look at me, look at me!" goes to Dr. Zasio and Dorothy. If they've been directed to act the way they do, shame on them for going along with it just to be on this show!

A Murderous Affair: The Carolyn Warmus Story (1992 TV Movie)

It does not get better as at goes!

They really need to make zero stars an option! Everything about this movie is a zero! Anything someone might consider ok about this is ruined by the bad acting and the ridiculous smoky haze. I was disappointed and surprised at how bad Chris Sarandon's acting was. I liked him in "Fright Night". The look on his face when he looked at his hands with all the blood on them was one of the absolute worst acting scenes ever....ever!

Virginia Madsen was the wrong choice for this film, but a good actress would have known to pass it over. This is one of those movies that could damage an actor's career . There is nothing than could have saved it.

***I strongly suggest you do not waste your time watching this if you haven't seen it. Only recommend this movie to someone you want to punish.*** I'm trying to think what could have made it better but it is so bad that it should have never been done in the first place. The next time I start a movie and realize early on it is terrible, I'm going to stop watching and save myself from wasting the time on it. I strongly suggest you do the same. Anyone who gave this movie 3 or more stars was just being nice.

A Friend of the Family (2022)

People don't realize how different things were back then!

Some reviewers can't understand how these ppl were so naive and why they handled things the way they did. This happened in a whole other time. There was no internet to learn from. The 6 p.m. News didn't teach about pedophiles. Ppl generally thought ppl were good and trusted those they went to church with. These ppl had no clue how to deal with this or what to do. Ppl didn't have social media to share their stories and teach others.

Children were more easy to manipulate back then than now.

I also don't understand the negative comments about Anna Paquin's acting. I thought she did a great job. She was portraying how many family oriented, religious women behaved back then.

Joker (I) (2019)

I hated this movie

I love Joaquin Phoenix but I HATE this movie. I would have liked to see him in make up and suit as the Joker more. I got tired of the annoying noise called his laugh. I'm fine with dark movies but this was too much and too much of it. I guess I hoping for something more like Heath Ledgers portrayal which I believe to be the best one ever. I'm glad others liked it, I really am. I wouldn't want anyone to feel the way this movie left me feeling. I'm totally fine with violence but this movie stayed too long in the dark of his mind. The best part was when he was dancing down the steps dressed full and make up as Joker not long before the end.
