Have you ever watched a movie and wanted to reach into the TV and shake the people who are in it because some of the things they do are so stupid? I found myself wanting to do this a lot while watching this film. It's not a bad movie but there are plot holes and some of it doesn't quite make sense. There is a plot within a plot and what you think is going on actually ends up being something else. I think in the end they kind of get what they deserve. This movie is a good reminder that the things we do in life can have dire consequences, and that no matter how you try to bury something, it will come back to haunt you. This is a revenge film.. I'm not going to give everything away because it's better to not know. The revenge this guy has in mind is pretty extreme so the question actually becomes who is the bigger monster? There are many twists and turns to this movie and the ending also turns out to end differently then you think it will. Not a bad film, not a great film but interesting none the less.

Ok so this was on a list of what was supposed to be good found footage films. That's a joke, these characters are so stupid it's ridiculous. I mean who finds their roommate stabbed and doesn't bother to call an ambulance?? Your boyfriend goes completely crazy, is blind and still nobody calls an ambulance or gets help?? Your boyfriend goes missing nobody calls the police?? I have seen characters make dumb choices but this takes the cake. Most of the scenes are these three hanging out in the apartment staring at the walls or sleeping. This Mirror is supposed to be like haunted or something but nothing ever happens, I was waiting for something creepy to show up in the mirror or something, nothing happens. Boring. Ridiculous. What a waste. That's an hour and a half I can never get back.

I was thinking this would be a really gross or a horrific body horror film and it wasn't anything that was really great. The body horror was barely there, it wasn't really scary. I would not call this horror. I kept waiting for something to happen, for it to get truly gruesome because I really felt from what people were saying that I would end up profoundly disturbed, but it never happened. Acting was good, I would call this a thriller but not horror, no way. It's a good story but it needed more to be considered a really disturbing body horror movie. I was thinking it might have some elements of Shivers or Rabid, but it never really went for it.
