Lost: Lockdown (2006)
tf is up with Jack?
Jack just got to know that his friends are running into a trap and he does nothing but PLAYING POKER. What? A character so obsessed with helping just doesn't care about his friends that could be dying just now, cause Poker is more important?
You know, I love this show. But if you asked me for one thing I don't like, it'd be that the feeling of urgency is somehow missing. I mean, Michael is gone since ... for a long time, but no one cares. It's probably cause it's an older show, and back then they were kinda designed to be as long as possible while today is the opposite the case (which is even worse if you ask me). And that's kinda annoying- a super important and exciting thing happens but then we pause it for ten episodes until we see how it plays out cause - FILLER.
It's still a good episode, don't get me wrong. There's so much great stuff in here. It's just something that REALLY bothered me.
Lost: One of Them (2006)
Absolutely underrated episode
One of the best ones so far. Sayid is such a fascinating character. I feel like by this point lots of the flashbacks are kinda unnecessary filler, but his are still absolutely amazing. There are simply so many sides to Sayid that can be explored.
But not only he shines. This is such a character driven episode, oh my god. They fight so hard, and yet every one is understandable. Fantastic character work, especially Locke and Jack (and Sayid of course).
Also, the music in this one was sooo good. The intense scenes were INTENSE. Especially the last dialogue scenes gave me the chills.
The episode even elaborated on some of the mysteries a little, more than we mostly get.
All in all a perfect Lost episode.
Rick and Morty: Rickdependence Spray (2021)
Best episode of the show
A masterpiece you only come around once in your life. Just utterly perfect. The tragic relationship between Morty and his sperm deeply touched me in the most personal way. It's a brutally and beautiful honest drama about how it is to be a horny 14 year old, a theme the show has never covered before that came by absolute surprise. The representation and empowerment of teenagers in that phase was desperately needed. Thank you, Rick & Morty. The finale of this episode is the icing on the cake. Utterly epic, I sweated myself to death watching it. The end gave me the biggest chills of my life. The Return of the King wished it had that kind of pay-off.
The only Rick & Morty episode you need to watch!!!
