i saw this movie the other night and i found it to be pretty decent. however, there were some parts that i didn't agree with. for one, i would never believe that a father will abandon his daughter that he loved so much. another is that Gary Sinise's character would not speak to his father after he left. if i was him, i would come back and prove to him that i became a successful businessman.

This movie is in the true vein of Animial House. Ryan Reynolds is quite dynamic as the heir apparent to Tim Matheson's Otto. Even though this movie is not in any way related to that classic movie. Look for Revenge of the Nerd's Curtis Armstrong to steal all the scenes that he is in.

This is just an average movie. This movie has a pretty impressive list of character actors. Although they are highly underused. Kelly Rutherford and Channon Roe are much better in the highly missed, Kindred: The Embraced. One thing of note though, the lovely Ms. Rutherford has her first nude scene in this movie.

This movie was a standard tear jerker. I don't really think it stands out between other movies of this genre. I really think William Forsythe is the most underrated actor in this film. Plus there are a few nude scenes by Helen Hunt that blows away her scenes in As Good As It Gets.
