Not sure why people are talking this movie up so hard. Literally had the worst issues of all the recent Superhero movies combined. Some maybe just focused on Keaton and Supergirl and want more of them, so they are trying to say it is better than it was.
The movie was a disaster and the weakest version of Flash multiverse storylines I've seen. Everything about it was inconsistent. Pacing, how things worked, and just the overall script were a mess. If you're going to fan service with cameos, a joke scene for Wonder Woman and end credit for Aquaman seem like a waste.
The visuals right from the beginning were jarring. The babies falling scene was absurd, and obviously was meant for humor, but the graphics were so bad and looked so unfinished, you would have been better off with real fake baby dolls instead of CGI, they looked that bad. The CGI is a distraction through the who movie as no efforts to blend were made at all in any scenes. Especially in the speed force during time travel. The graphics were Polar Express levels of bad.
Keaton's Batman and Supergirl were the movie's only saving grace, and yet there wasn't enough of them. Zod just felt like some inevitable bomb going off and the futility of just having him be unbeatable was disappointing. We lose that big hero moment and they could have had the conflict of restoring the timeline without making the too best characters fixed death points.
The conflict in the time bubble even felt rushed and underwhelming.
The movie overall felt unfinished and all over the place. Flash didn't have enough hero moments and most of the story lacks any sort of impact.
