Z Nation: The Vanishing (2017)
Love this show and this episode, but...
I know this show probably didn't have the biggest budget, but trying to watch the character of Sargent Lilly holding and firing a rifle was comical to say the least. She had her head cocked in this awkward angle that made the thought of her being a trained soldier absolutely laughable. Even though she may not have been trained by anyone due to the small budget, you'd think that as an actor she would have put SOME effort into looking like a legit soldier. Every time I watch her with a rifle; I absolutely cringe.
The Gray Man (2022)
Had potential, but it fell way short
Chris Evans was originally offered the lead roll, but he turned it down to play the villain--he shouldn't have. He was terrible. The bad guy was so terribly cliche that it was hard to watch all the way through. Hollywood is in a great deal of trouble if this is the best they can come up with. A villain who is totally over the top, ridiculous and unrealistic--again--and again--and again--and who is this completely overconfident chump--we have seen it so many times it is pathetic. Enough. Chris Evans blew it here..
Aside from that, it was choppy, jumped around and just sloppy. It was an okay watch, but nothing at all to write home about in any way.
