Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Don't waste your time
The "Original" Wonder Woman was set during World War II working on the side of the allies. The writer of this movie puts her in 1984 working at The Smithsonian.
The plot of the wishing stone was lame. Diana wishes for her boyfriend, who died in the first feature film aka WWII and he comes back.
Kristen Wiig wishes to be like Diana. Max Lord wishes to be the wishing stone.
The more wishes the worse everything on earth becomes.
Diana realizes the only way to fix the near apocalypse is for everyone to renounce their wish. She tearfully does and loses her boyfriend.
The story drags. At one point I thought ok Wonder Woman is going to fix this guy and this movie will end. No it keeps going. Two hours and thirty minutes.
The only good thing about this movie is an extra during the running of the credits. A cameo by Lynda Carter, the best thing in the movie.
Night of the Templar (2012)
An Hour and 42 Minutes You Can't Get Back
I watched this because David Carradine was in it. David, Norman Reedus and Billy Drago couldn't save this movie.
Paul Sampson who wrote, starred, produced and directed must have a rich daddy or won the lottery and thought he could buy stardom.
The script is bad so very bad. A few unnecessary snide remarks against Catholics and those that believe in Heaven and Hell.
I have been a fan of Billy Drago since Delta Force II. I can't imagine how much they had to pay him to put on a dress and kiss another man on the lips.
Norman Reedus wasn't given much to do but laze on a couch and play with an orange.
David Carradine was believable as the shopkeeper. I was sad to read this was his final film. He deserved better for his swan song.
